This is a very good looking product
This is a very good looking product. However, because the fan is so loud, it must be housed in a room with a door. The fan runs the entire time the machine is warming the water. When the machine is switched to the warming setting, the fan runs at the same volume. Also to note, the warming setting only runs for a half hour. I would not recommend this. I am still looking for a better answer.

Pretty sweet, almost perfect! Not quite so much.
Just got my Ozeri Tea Maker today. I've had a chance to play around with it and decided to skip over here to give you my opinion. This kettle looks great, has a nice small footprint on my counter, and boils water faster and more accurately than my last kettle. When I used my tru-temp reader the results were within 5 degrees, which I consider acceptable, some may disagree with me. The kettle is induction, so when it kicks on you do hear the fan running inside of it, not super loud, but worth noting. When you remove the kettle from the base there is a plastic platform that the induction works through, seems water resistant, I'm not going to test that theory though. The super fine mesh tea basket seems like it'll do a great job handling my finer teas without allowing much, if any, leaf particles into the tea. The kettle can be used with or without the mesh basket. Kettle also is a little beepier than I'd like, not super loud, but it lets you know it's there. Reasons I took one star say from my review: 1. The pour spout part of the lid is plastic, it also is made up of smaller holes which really slows down your flow when pouring. When first using it I didn't realize and water was coming out also where the clear center piece goes in. I don't like this feature and very well may have my husband modify this for me. 2. Keep warm function does not automatically kick on after water reaches the requested temp, you have to hit the button to start the keep warm function. And sadly it only lasts 30 minutes. I would of preferred 1 hour and for it to automatically kick over. I like to start my water boiling in the morning, then go get ready for work and come back to water ready to go for my morning tea. I'll adjust, but it's notable anyway. Final thought: All in all in happy with my purchase, could be a tiny bit better, but it could be way worse. I'll come back and update my review of anything changes, for now though, I'm happy! Edited again. Came back to knock another star off. Have had this for several months now. Just recently traded it out for my old loyal one. It doesn't really heat water that fast. My $35 Hamilton Beach kettle boils faster and isn't as noisy as this one. Also lately it's started making quiet ticking noises when not in use. Disappointed, I expected better for this kind of money.

Great size kettle
I recently ordered this tea kettle which has already come in handy (as it's Thanksgiving and the stovetop is otherwise occupied), and I'm able to make myself and company a quick cup of tea while dinner and the fixings cook. It'll be coming to my office with me as I hate heating water up in the microwave (tastes funny to me), and it's super safe with the automatic shut off feature.

I would buy it again
Very well made but a few design flaws. The pour spout is covered with plastic that has very small holes in it. It takes forever to pour. It was easily fixed by drilling a few 1/4 inch holes. The controls are not intuitive. They are easy to use after a few trips to the instructors. It does heat fast and will keep the water hot if you like.

Beware of rust
I love how it looks, and aesthetics are super important to me so I looked for a while before I pulled the trigger. But the other reviewers were not lying when they said it is really loud. I honestly thought that they were all exaggerating, and that it couldn't be that bad... but I can't use the "Keep Warm" function because the sound just annoys me too much. Edit- it started rusting

Keep looking. Not worth $100
I searched and searched the many tea kettle/brewing options and am disappointed this is the one I chose. It does heat water quickly, and the easily removable infuser is convenient, but for $100, I expect better functioning. In order to keep the water hot, you have to press the Keep Warm button within 90 seconds, which is not always easy to do in a busy kitchen. The worst problem is that the motor makes a constant "whooshing" sound after the water is heated. Whether or not the Keep Warm button has been pressed, the motor keep "whooshing". Pressing the start button, to try to turn off the motor does not help. The unit has to be unplugged for the motor to stop. It is very annoying.
