Fudge from Colors
Initially, I had a very reliable stainless steel 3-set of mixing bowls. However, the metal clanging noise annoyed me. This plastic 6-set is useful as I make Hershey's Classic Smooth Fudge frequently. I have measured mini-marshmallows and Hershey's morsels, ready to pour into the heated sauce, from the yellow and lt. green bowls, without metal clang noise & without putting dents in the bowls, which take no time to clean --- just wipe with a damp kitchen dish cloth. Takes less than 3 seconds. Two of the stainless steel mixing bowls had dents from being in a hurry to pour measured ingredients into heated mixtures. The colors allow me to 'see' which size I'll need to use & color-recognition/familiarity saves me loads of time.

I like the different sizes. During the holidays I bake a lot of cookies and the different sizes were very useful. I liked the colors and they stack well. Did not take up anymore room than usual bowls
