Haven't used the receiver yet but have installed. Seems solid, only worry will be it could twist left or right if not tight enough but should be fine for the purposes I want it for I believe.

HAVING ONLY ONE HOLE ALLOWS A HEAVY TRAILER TO TURN THE HITCH POINT IF MOUNTED ON A VERTICAL SURFACE. INCLUDING ANOTHER MOUNTING HOLE AND EXTENDING THE MOUNTING TAB TO ACCOMMODATE IT WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION. I WILL WELD ON AN EXTENSION TO REMEDY MY UNIQUE APPLICATION REQUIREMENT. I ALREADY DRILLED CLEVIS HOLES TO ALLOW MY 2 INCH BALL TO BE MOUNTED ON A VERTICAL SURFACE.
