Spent hours watching tutorials, prewashed these, soaked them in ash for 24 hours, let the dye sit for 48 hours. You can see the before and after - I put them all in the wash (cold water) and they are perfectly white bandanas again.hours wasted. kids disappointed. do not waste your time and money!

Edges are poorly sewn. They are fraying after only 3 washings. Do not buy.Also, they are not square shape.

I purchased these bandana blanks for tie dying and fabric painting. They are 100% cotton, as described, and take dye well. (Make sure you are using the right dye for your fabric.) The sample picture was dyed using a powdered dye and the ice dying method. As these are plain white fabric squares they could be used for many different things – napkins, cleaning cloths, and as the basis for a creative project. The stitching around the edges is adequate but is a little uneven and could come unraveled with repeated washings.

The material is so thin and the stitching around the outside is coming off instantly

Typically cost about 1.25 each if I were to get in store, but it was much cheaper here. Worked well with tie dye and a lot of pieces, there was actually a ton leftover from party.
