You KNOW I'm coming
I have had both this Cherry Bomb Extreme and the Cherry Bomb Glass Pack before and it was also on a 5.7L HEMI engine but the first time was on a RAM 1500 with a 3" exhaust system. Here I'm using them on a Chrysler 300C with a 2 1/2" exhaust system and the results were the exact opposite for some reason. I'll talk about the glass pack on that item but I will say that for the 2 1/2" versions, the Extreme is the better by far of the two. Where on my truck the Extreme was much quitter, here it was as loud if not a little bit louder because it has that nice deep rumble that you can feel and is also sounds good under hard acceleration and does not pop and crackle when you let off the gas. The whole purpose was that I have a FlowMaster CTA back system on the car and the Super 40 mufflers were only about 3/8" forward of the rear drive shaft bolts and under hard acceleration they've shifted backward enough to rub and make a horrendous noise so I removed the Super 40's and replaced them with straight pipe then put the Extremes back where the factory resonators go just in front of the tail pipes. They fit nicely at a 45 degree angle and sound fantastic! I highly recommend this product. Update / 25 SEP 2014: Time heals all problems. Well maybe not but it did help me out here. As I stated on my Cherry Bomb Glass Pack review the same happened here but it took a little longer. My check engine light came on 3 days after I put these on. Same code about Catalyst performing below efficiency bank two. So I let it ride and after 3 days the check engine light went out and has not come back on for the last 6 days. I stick with my original thoughts about Dodge / Chrysler and their attempts to drum up business with their over sensitive vehicle computers. I think that once the computer had a couple of days to "adjust" it went back to normal OPS with the new mufflers.

Dodge Challenger V6 2011 COMPLETELY SATISFIED!!!
Before I get into this detailed review on these mufflers, just know that I have these mufflers working with a brand new K&N CAI and some new exhaust tips, and resonators are deleted. These mufflers sound amazing! If your thinking about which mufflers will give you an aggressive sound for the money you want to spend, these mufflers will definitely make you happy! Be forewarned though, that these mufflers are loud obviously and if you don't enjoy the interior drone (which I don't find to be unbearable but can see how it would bother the common driver), then pull the trigger and buy these. I haven't put out any decibel readings or anything like that (PA legal is 90 decibels) but the car doesn't seem to be crazily annoying to neighbors or anything unless you obviously give it a WOT. If your looking for something that may give you the same tone but not as aggressive go a step down for the glass packs, but if you basically want your car to sound like a race car then go for the extremes! P.S. these are center inlets and outlets, for any other challenger drivers I would go with the offset ones. Only reason I didn't get those because they were low on stock and I needed 2. Mechanic said it wasn't impossible obviously but it did make it a little more difficult with the piping for the exhaust.

5.0 V8 and they sound amazing. They have lots of rumble to them
This is one mean sounding muffler. I put true duals of these on my 93 F-150 5.0 V8 and they sound amazing. I have then dumped behind the rear axles with 3.5 inch tips. They have lots of rumble to them. They're very deep, bassy, and throaty. You will turn heads everywhere you go. I live in Tennessee and no one really cares about vehicle exhausts being too loud. Just about everybody running aftermarket exhausts are loud. Very aggressive exterior sound with alot of interior drone. I wouldn't run it without a cat otherwise it'll be obnoxiously loud. This is about as loud as you can go legally. If you live in an area that's strict on noise, don't run it. Or if you wanna risk it, keep it as quiet as possible. Only thing louder is to not run a muffler at all but, that'll get you an improper equipment and possible excessive noise ticket.

Arrived on time , although that packaging was in rough shape . Box was ripped and repaired with clear tape , makes me wonder if it was something someone had returned . Product appeared well made , seems pretty heavy duty and rugged but the red paint has already started to burn off and ive only had it for maybe a month . I put it on a 05 Nissan titan . It sounds aggressive and has a nice deep tone to it . I will say its not as loud as I expected , I had a flowmaster before and it was definitely louder . Bang for the buck , this is a heavy duty well made muffler with a nice deep tone for a affordable price .

Sounds like you are all 4 horsemen of the apocalypse
If you have a v8 and want to make sure that people know you are coming before they can see you, I would say remove any resonator or cat from your exhaust and just use one of these (or 2 if u gonna go ham and true dual it)

Loud but not obnoxiously loud
Has a very good tone to it, I used this on my 5.3 silverado and it sounds amazing. Cabin drone is almost none existent, I can have a whole conversations without screaming at the passengers lol. Highly recommend if you're on a budget and want your v8 to sound great!

As an active Amazon user this will be a multi-edited review as my use of this muffler progresses. I drive a truck with a lift so the whole under-body is shown. I needed something ascetically pleasing as well as functional. As far as today goes (haven't welded it on) it's a ***** based strictly on appearance. UPDATE: The muffler has been welded and ran for almost 2 months. The red paint has burned off completely. The muffler is now a burnt brown color and has no evidence of red left over at all. As for function, it works as it is intended to. It is loud, yes. It is not as loud as having a straight pipe, though. For MY personal opinion I'm going to lower the ***** to *** because half of the reason I bought this muffler is for the color. If you don't have the under-body of your truck visible this should not apply to you.
