First impression of my new favorite 50' hose
Wow! Never used a hose like this outdoors before. Amazingly small for such a long hose. Deploying it was a breeze - despite the fact that it was tightly curled, it wasn't a factor as I laid it out. I thought I'd have to rotate to deal with the turns and kinds, but it just took care if it on its own, as if it can twist anywhere on the hose to straighten itself out. I did this once, in the dark, and it was incredibly easy to weave behind bushes for 40' I bought it to put behind bushes and leave in place, thinking stainless might last longer and survive the occasional accidental shovel.I order two others, one which I'll use similarly and one I'll use daily. I'm very interested to see they handle on daily use.The ends are really solid and well made. The female end was as large as any I've ever used and screwed in deeper than any I've used. It didn't leak. The other end already had the spray hose attached. It didn't leak either.I'd purchased a nozzle but instead am trying the nozzle provided. The distance is pretty remarkable, if that's what you're going for, this one works. I'm not so sure the spray it provides is suitable for closeup watering of flowers. I'm sure it's killer for hosing off anything, it does send out a blast. That brings me to hose size. It's so small in diameter, I was worried about it constricting the water flow. I can certainly say the pressure isn't lacking, but I haven't tried to fill a bucket. It didn't seem like it was a skimpy amount of water coming out...I had to drag the hose some to get an extra few feet after having snaked it along the house and behind bushes for 40'. Amazing how easy it was, it slid like a snake through the grass, catching on nothing. Again, wow, but only one use, looking forward to trying everyday.Seems too good to be true. Love it. My new favorite hose. The hardware at the ends is top notch, easy to get a dry fit at the source with the large grip provided. Hose is much smaller and lighter than any of that length (50') than I've ever used. Slides through mulch and bushes like Teflon - slick! Drip free at both ends with a light, low profile, simple nozzle that's drip free too.I hope to update this after more use...

Quality, Easy to Use
Quality made item with solid brass fittings that you can tighten down on the hose bib without having to use a wrench. Lightweight and easy to manage as you work with it. It is a smaller diameter hose than the rubber ones I've had previously, however, it produces plenty of pressure for the jobs I will use it on. I got this hose primarily as an easy to hook up, use, unhook, and store - for winter use in washing off salt and road grime on my cars. In the cold of winter here, it just isn't feasible to try and use a rubber hose in near freezing temperatures for this job. Trying to coil up a rubber hose for storage in winter temperatures will try your religion. Not so with this stainless hose. I bought the 50' hose to try it out. I like it so well that I will soon add another 50 footer to give me the length that I really need. I recommend this product.

Life long hose, just maybe, possible!
I just rec'd 3 of the QSP SS metal hoses 3 days ago, using them 3 times (about 6 hours). Was using 3/4" rubber/regular 100ft & 50ft heavy duty hoses. These are a whole lot lighter weight. Easier to carry/slide around. They look quite durable, coils up fairly easily/fast into a large ceramic decorative pot. I am quite happy with them. Sure relieves the frustration of kinking constantly & pulling very hard!REVISED (30+ hours of use): **HOSE ENDS ARE NOT MADE OF BRASS (SEE BELOW). The nozzle it comes with is very bad/too powerful for plant watering, good for cleaning. I use my other nozzles. To care for these & all hoses properly always:1. Drain hose relieving the water pressure when not in use, may/likely to burst eventually2. Pull hose around by handling the hose with the opposite hand (not by the nozzle), to prevent nozzle area from spitting/breaking from hose3. Store them out of the direct sun & inside in severe weather, to keep interior tube from agingAll this care should increase the life of the hose... lasting forever!!??The cons: **I DO NOT BELIEVE THE HOSE ENDS ARE MADE OF BRASS (electroplated the brass color, actually gold color) & the metal is too soft to be brass). The hoses ends are showing silver under the finish!! When using the hose with no nozzle (flooding) the water flow is significantly less output BUT when using it with my nozzles I find little to no difference in water output (not the nozzle it comes with). So if you want to use these hoses as a flood hose it will take maybe 50% longer. I have good (not super strong) water pressure. I have not used a sprinkler with these hoses. I have not used the nozzle supplied but I did test it, very unsatisfactory. There is much more water flow with my nozzles (squeeze handle with 5-6 spray variety). Also, it does not have nearly the variety of sprays either. It would be good as a small (1 to 1-1/2") diameter pressure wash. The hose does tangle but will not kink. Being slinky the tangles are very easy & fast to untangle.I gave it a 4* (vs 5*) due to the "cons" above. It isn't perfect but I like the hose is better than all others I have used (so far). A bit pricy too.Revised: Due to the non-brass ends I give it a 2*. I really despise dishonesty plus the durability will lessen. I still very much like the hose though.NOTE: As of this writing, QSP sells through Amazon fulfillment & eBay only. If you do not subscribe to Amazon Prime good luck getting them to ship to you any time soon/reasonable. I had to call C/S 3 times about 1/2 to 3/4 hour per call. It took them 8 days to SHIP when the warehouse they shipped out of is 80-90 minutes away. They told me will ship by air but they shipped USPS Parcel Select (economy/bulk ultra cheap rate but billed & credited me $49.55) My last 3 or 4 orders is the same story, 5 full days at least to SHIP. Amazon is now my last choice marketplace vs my top 2 or 3 (will buy from direct shipping from sellers for now on) . I buy nearly everything on the Internet because stores are 35+ miles away, 70+ miles RT. Way too far to pick up everything I need in dribbles, even weekly. Saves a ton of gas but not time so much (read the reviews & search pricing & sellers).
