To be perfectly honest I was really skeptical about spending so much money on a fan especially when I pulled it out of the box and it felt so lightweight (almost flimsy) but I was wrong! This fan is amazing! As far as the weight issue it’s actually really convenient because I can easily move it from floor to table top without hurting my back and it’s sturdy enough to stay put unless someone intentionally pushes it over. There are 6 varying strengths. Even the lowest gives a very nice breeze and is whisper quiet. I actually prefer some white noise and was used to an old 10” Lasko tabletop fan so it took some getting used to not hearing the loud buzz of a fan but 1)for most people that’s a positive trait and 2) if I want a little white noise I can turn it up to the highest setting, 6. The remote control works fine. It does need a clear view of the fan but honestly unless you’re using a remote with Bluetooth (which in my opinion is a bit overkill for a fan) it’s going to need a clear point of view from remote to device, I get extreme sweating spells (literally dripping head to toe) due to one of my medications and this fan handles them like a champ! The angle of the fan head adjusts plenty for my purposes. I can’t comment on the oscillation because I don’t use it out of personal preference. I did turn it on to make sure it worked and it does. As far as the battery, again I can’t be too helpful because I leave it plugged in most of the time but there was one night where one of the kids unplugged it to use my outlet and after a few hours the battery was still going strong on one of the highest settings. The light from the numerical display (showing the amount of battery life left) doesn’t bother me but if you prefer a room that’s pitch black it might be an issue for some people. The telescoping feature is convenient. It’s a bit tight (which is nice because I don’t have to worry about it sliding down out of place). I’m disabled and I am still able to adjust it without a problem. I was just afraid I was going to break it the first time by pulling it open but fortunately that is not an issue. I really thought when it first arrived that I would be sending it back based on how it felt in my hand when I removed it from the box and the amount of money it cost but this baby’s not going anywhere! And lastly assembly was a breeze (pun intended). Basically remove it from the box and plug it in! I did not receive any kind of discount or free product in exchange for this review (in fact unlike most Amazon products there was no postcard included even requesting a review). These are my own opinions as a consumer who relies on others’ reviews when deciding what to purchase. If you’re on the fence just buy it! Update: 6 months later and I am even happier with this fan than I was on day 1! The listing price has dropped considerably so I’m actually going to buy a few more for other rooms of the house as well. I’ve used the oscillator multiple times now and it functions well. It is SO easy to clean (honestly one of the reasons I originally purchased it was because my previous Lasko took forever for me to get every speck of dust out. Not only am I extremely “type a” but I also am allergic to dust so between the kids and the dog constantly running in and out of a house in a rural area and running a bedroom fan constantly there’s consistently tons of dust no matter how frequently I clean any fan. There’s one tiny screw to remove, you rotate the front piece clockwise, it pops off and you’re ready to clean! Again, I’m the kind of person that does all the nooks and crannies with a qtip before I consider anything clean and it still took me less than 5 minutes (as opposed to literally an hour of cleaning dust out of older fans and still not being satisfied). I actually run this fan 24/7 but if is definitely convenient for most people that it will easily fold flat enough to fit in a dresser drawer if you wanted to.

We bought this purely for its portability, and we can literally use it anywhere. Any room in the house, on the patio, game room, and most recently, our RV. On hot days with the air conditioner on, this gives a boost of coolness. Even our dog loves it. After a walk in the heat, she lays down in her RV bed and we position the fan right in front of her, fire it up, she cools down quickly, and falls to sleep quick for nap. She love this fan. The best is, we position the fan at the base of our RV bed, turn it on low with oscillation. It keeps us super comfortable all night long. The fan is fully adjustable. High, low, left or right, or oscillation. It keeps us and the dog cool anywhere anytime. It runs a long time on one charge and is very quiet as well. It folds away into a compact little package for easy storage when traveling. This is the perfect companion for keeping cool. We give it 5 stars.

I love this fan. It is versatile and you can easily extend the height via an expandable pole. It collapses into a single portable disc when it’s not fan season. But best of all, this fan cools remarkably well - even on the lowest settings. And a big plus is that it holds a charge a surprisingly long time. I keep it at a 1 or 2, which feels great, and hours later, it still has more than 80% of its charge remaining. Additionally, this fan is quiet, I have an expensive tower fan, which I thought was good but I find I’d rather use this fan than the tower fan simply because it cools more effectively. The fan has all the usual features but I really just turn it on and off. Every few days, I charge it on the port on my recliner and it doesn’t take that long to charge it but, to tell you the truth, the charge level never gets too low because it is efficient. I am buying a second one of these fans. I had a different brand of a similar fan but the quality is so bad, I’m tossing it and replacing it with another of these Faraday fans.

I've had fans like this before (but not THIS brand), and love how they fold up easily for travel. This, however, is the best little fan of all! 12in instead of the usual 10in, lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. It moves an impressive amount of air, and pretty quietly, too. The oscillation is slow and smooth. Getting the battery in the remote was kinda irritating, as it has a TINY safety screw holding the back plate on (and no screwdriver included), like the kind you use in eyeglasses. I ended up needing to use a pocket knife to unscrew it, but I got the battery in fine (positive side facing the remote, btw). The user guide was missing one thing though - when you plug it it and turn it on, the right number column on the display kept blinking, while the left column stayed solid (but didn't correlate to the fan speed level). Turns out, it only does that while it's charging and the number displayed it the charge level. Once it hit full charge, the display shows a solid 100 with no digits blinking. It's been running non-stop now for ~24hrs, working great. Hopefully it will continue being a little rockstar!

I purchased this fan on 7/25/2025 and is not been a year and stop working already. My family took it to a technician and the guy told her it was the plate it means nothing he can’t fix. Not worth the money.
