Unreal value for money! Perfect starter guitar.
I'm genuinely confused about how you can get so much guitar for so little money. Back when I started playing guitar most people would head down to their local Argos (or similar) and purchase a guitar deal which usually totalled around £150 and came with a bedroom amplifier and strat copy. Now on paper that sounds like what you're getting here and in honesty that's what I expected... at first. Firstly the guitar was of surprisingly high build quality! Sunburst finishes on cheap guitars always risk looking tacky but as you can see in the video this certainly looks the part! The neck was nice and thin and everything felt sturdy. The finish was mark-free, it's definitely one of the best looking strat-copies I've seen at this price point and looks decisively more the part than most similarly priced Squires I've played! The amp is table sized which is ideal for bedroom practice. It's not versatile in tones and it's not going to help you play over a drummer (or in a live band scenario) but if you're looking to have a quick practice that won't upset the neighbours it's ideal! I've found personally that the larger amps in other bundles tend to be less convenient than this as I could slip this in a small bag and take it anywhere and that they quickly end taking up precious floor space once you upgrade to a proper gig-able amp, which is another issue you avoid here. Additionally you receive all of the accessories you'll need to fully indulge in guitar playing, including: - a capo (used to play open chords further up the neck, think Ed Sheeran) - extra set of stings - set of picks - case and strap - amp lead - tuner (stick this on the end of the guitar and make sure you stay in tune as you learn!) If you were going to twist my arm and ask for cons i'd say the following: - There is some small glue around the nut. - The speaker didn't output until I turned on the overdrive volume and I felt as if the other knobs were negligible. - The strings felt cheap/standard (easily remedied by slapping on some new strings, I recommend a set of 'Ernie Ball .9' for you new players out there! A staple quality string set that will improve the feel of the guitar no end). In honesty getting an entire starter kit for £105 shouldn't be possible. This bundle exceeded my expectations in every possible way, it feels as if no corners have been cut with the included products and I've found everything in this bundle to be usable, so well done Donner! Highly recommended for someone looking to learn the basics/dip their toes before purchasing their dream axe!

Amazing for a starter
I am no professional or anything and by no means am I a gear head when it comes to guitars. However I can provide a learners view on the product. Its great too play feels goo and sturdy the amp sounds good considering and everything just feels quality and not like its going to break. Ok sure its not perfect and the jack on the back for headphone input and aux cord output to say a speaker are a little shoddy and aren't in place too well but its not broken yet so id say its fine. The amp is also rechargeable and lasts what seems like a life time. The guitar itself feels great in hand and too play. The satin finish makes it easy too play and the frets aren't sharp or anything which is a common problem on cheap guitars. The micro USB cable (Charger for the amp) is what you expect form a normal cheap product its short and not of amazing quality. The aux cable is the same deal. The instrument cable actually feels very good quality and not lie its gonna break and the coating on the cable feels good and not like a cheap crappy plastic. The strap isn't the best ever but does the job. The picks are well picks just a piece of plastic really but non the less feel good too use and haven't broken so far. The tuner is accurate as far as I can tell and the spare strings I haven't tested yet but assume they are the same as the ones on the guitar which feel just fine too me and my uncle but he did say they are a little on the light side for him but that personal preference so don't worry about that. The gig back is well padded but I wouldn't try throwing it around too much. The Allen keys/wrenches or whatever you prefer to call them are just bog standard nothing special. The capo does its job but its only plastic but to be honest that's all it needs to be. I gave this guitar too my uncle who has been playing for around 40 years to tune as he just wanted to see it but I also wanted to learn how to tune by ear. Anyway as soon as I handed it too him he was very impressed and compared it too his fender Stratocaster and sure they weren't identical but according too him for what it cost and for what you get its a steal. So combining what my uncle and I think. I believe this is a must have for anyone who wants a electric guitar and it is a great starting point too the world of guitar. This would be great as a present or just to buy to get into playing.

Perfect kit for beginner guitarists
Firstly, this is a crazy good deal considering what you get. Gig bag, capo, strings, strap, plectrums, tuner, cable AND a 3 watt amp plus a really good quality beginners guitar. The guitar itself feels like a good quality build. I was honestly surprised by this because I thought the accessories alone would cost the best part of the price tag on their own. It feels sturdy, the neck feels good and it plays nicely. This really does make a perfect starter guitar for anyone just learning because you get everything you'll need to hit the ground running. It feels and plays like a much more expensive guitar in my opinion. I've played some terrible starter guitars growing up with most of my friends being guitarists and this is a real cut above. The amp was also a real pleasant surprise. You get 2 channels, clean and distortion, with their own volume controls plus tone and gain controls. The clean gives a reasonable volume (as much as you'd expect for a budget 3w amp) but with a nice tone and the distortion can be pumped out a lot louder. I really liked the fact it's battery powered, charged by micro usb, so you can use it any where and take it around with you if need be. It also has an audio in input for playing music through it when practicing. Great for learning songs and using backing tracks. All in all I highly recommend it. If you really want the best out of it I'd advise taking it for a professional set up (normally £40 - £60 and there's always someone in the area) to just get it playing to the best of it's ability but this is in no way required as it plays fine on it's own.

Satisfied with my purchase compared to squier affinity that i received. It has no sharp fret edge and fret buzz. Low action also.
