They are super thin and hollow but perfect for what I needed them for. I used them to make real wands. I poured colored epoxy in them and let them sit overnight and now I have a beautiful solid wand that I can wrap the handle and or paint and design for sale. So you will either have a very cheap hollow toy or a very cheap hollow mold. Side note, if you do use it for a mold, you will have to use an exacto knife to slice down the middle to pull out wand, so it's a one time use but totally worth it.

These are hollow and cheap, BUT they are perfect for a child’s birthday party! We just had a Harry Potter party for my son’s birthday. As part of the festivities, we had a sorting hat ceremony, where each child was assigned to a house. (Check Etsy for sorting hat scratch-off cards, if you don’t want to spend money on the talking hat!) The four colors of the wands paired nicely with the four houses of Hogwarts, even though they’re not an exact match. The kids didn’t seem to care, though. We also ordered a set of remote control candles to do a “group spell” with the wands—the kids were blown away! Turning the candles on and off with magic was really fun. The kids were also excited to be able to take their wands home with them. All in all, a great buy!

Overall, a great party favor, which is what we used them for. They are hollow inside which make them less durable. My 8 year old did fine, but our four year old (who wanted to be included in the party) bent the wand pretty quickly. It did not break and bent back pretty easily, but I can see it bending again easily and it won’t bend back into place after a few times of that. Older kids (probably 6-7+) would have no issues but the younger ones will likely destroy them. Overall, I would recommend as a party favor.

I bought these for favors at a Harry Potter party and they worked out great. All the kids loved them and played with them the whole party. They are hollow but still very solid feeling and nicely made. I called the tan wand "gold" and that helped kids want to pick that color too. No one hit each other with them, none of them broke, and everyone wanted to take one home, so I call that a win.

These are from Oriental Trading, and they are cheaper at Oriental Trading. How do I know that is where they are from? They came with a sticker on the bag... so of course I checked out the price at OT and they are $3 less. Save yourself some money, order direct. They are also bigger than I expected. The kids will like them, and for $3 I'm not returning, but if I wanted to shop at Oriental Trading I would do so.

These wands are great for what you pay. Like others I thought they were a little plain. I added some contrasting glitter glue to the swirls and I think they look great! I will say they are extremely light weight, which I found annoying, but my grandkids (ages 3,5,7) didn’t mind at all. They were great for party favors!

These wands were bigger than I expected, but that was perfect! They were great for a Harry Potter themed party. My “destructo-baby” (as I call him lol) has yet to break one, 3 days after the party so that’s a win for me hahaha

These are going to be party favors at my daughter's birthday party. Not the cheapest price, I paid $15, but cheap enough to give the kids something to do while they wear their Harry Potter glasses with the lightning tattoo 'scar' on their foreheads! :) I honestly do not care what colors I got - I don't think there's any dark brown is in my set as pictured.
