Works perfectly
This little basket fit perfectly in the ultrasonic cleaner my husband has. I got it to replace the basket that came with his cleaner. It is very heat durable. Actually helped knock the brass noise level down. Made all his cases come out sparkling clean.

I love this cleaner.
This ultrasonic cleaner has cleaned gun parts, carburetors and jewelry. No complaints. Easy as heck to use. Quality made.

Works great
Used in our supersonic claner and it worked as it says it does. Brass shells were nice and shiny when we ran it for 15 min.

Transducer only works over the transducer
So, got this to clean titanium silencer baffles. 22LR ~600 rds, filthy as hell (btw, CCI 975CC is sick quiet!). Tried dropping them in the basket with a 50/50 mix of CLR and water, 3x 480 seconds with heat and it kinda sorta worked, but not very well. LOTS of carbon buildup still on the baffles, a bit less so on those right over the transducer. What worked amazingly well was:1) putting the baffles in an old fashioned glass2) add 50/50 mix of CLR and water3) fill the Basin with water only4) set the old fashioned glass directly on the transducer.Ran for 480 seconds, NO heat, and there was 0, ziltch, nada carbon at all on the baffles - like new! The transducer only really gets to those items directly over the transducer. Anything else in the basket really doesn't get touched at all. Now, let's see how long this cleaner really lasts before it craps out...

It works for pistols
This is large enough for my Ed Brown 1911 and other pistols. It dosen't save much time because of the set up time but it does do a better job of cleaning than doing it by hand. I would recommend giving the parts a spray of cleaner first, let it set a bit and do a wipe down with a paper towel before putting them in the unit.It is safe for plastic grips but remove wood grips before immersing. The metal basket is a plus. As far as I can tell it is the same unit as the Hornady for considerably less $$$.

Does an OK job, but not great job
This unit cleans the brass cases fairly well, but they are not polished like a tumbler does. You have to run it 2 or 3 times to get really dirty cases clean (like the nasty ones you pick up off the ground at the range). Also, even though the cases are clean, they tarnish almost immediately after they are rinsed off. I guess that's no big deal and will not affect the loading process or accuracy. It could also be due to my well water even though it is run thru a softener. If I could find a rinsing solution that would leave a tarnish-resistant finish, it would be great!I found that a solution of 1 qt. hot water, 1 cup white vinegar, 1 Tbsp salt, and 1 Tbsp of liquid dish soap or Simple Green actually cleans the brass as well or better than the included cleaning solution. And, it's a lot cheaper. I found this formula on one of the shooting forums on the internet, so I do not take credit for it. The unit appears to be well made, and comes with a stainless steel basket and the cleaner solution. It's easy to clean out after use. It is reasonably quiet. I noticed that this same unit is marketed under several different names, including Lyman. It's also marketed as a jewelry cleaner, but with only a 4 minute timer, so be careful that you order the brass case version with the 25 minute timer. If an ultrasonic cleaner is what you want, this is a pretty good one for a reasonable price.Durability is still TBD, as I have only cleaned about 400 .38 Special cases so far.
