Launch price was 70$ why is it at 39$ after 1 month since the launch? what does it means"no carbon"version. does this one doesn't include something?

I’ve had these for 2 years. I can confirm that indeed they do leak audio to your mic input. The surround sound “DAC” broke after 6 months as well. Probably the reason for the price cut. I love Corsair products but I will not be buying this one again.

is this 3d audio compatible

Yes. It's simulated 3D audio. But it works surprisingly well. But you do have to be paying attention to truely get "7.1" simulated sound. I stringly suggest turning off game music. Otherwise this will be useless. Regardless of the headset you get. I've used it in Halo, Warzone, Siege, Battlefield, etc on my Xbox. But you need the USB adapter, that comes with it, for the 7.1. And it only works on PC, with the Coursair software. But as I said, the sorround does work on Xbox. Just to a more basic extent.

Why doesn't the sidetone controls appear on the icue software like corsairbrian said in a september 11, 2020 response?
