To those that say the holes don't line up, the plexiglass is designed to fit ONE WAY ONLY. If you just look at it, you can see the cutouts on one side that align up with the hinges. People just don't pay attention and use their head. I got two houses today and installed the glass without any problem. It came with 8 screws and an Allen wrench that fits the screws and a cleaning tool. The houses are well built. I'll be coating the outside of them with a water repellant stain to help the life of them. Looking forward to getting them put outside and seeing the bees using it. Sometimes it takes a while for bees to find the houses, so to those that are saying disappointed because bees aren't using them, be patient! Sometimes it can take a whole year for them to find these type of houses. Price was more than I wanted to pay - but it is study so if it doesn't fall apart within a year like my cheap current houses, I'll be happy.

THE PLEXIGLASS HOLES DONT LINE UP! So annoying. It's a nice piece otherwise but the lack of craftsmanship/caring with drilling the plexiglass holes in the correct spot is disappointing. It comes fully assembled minus the plexiglass pieces screwed on. So instead of only a Phillips screwdriver to assemble you'll now need a power drill, and very sharp drill bit and a few extra minutes. This would be a 5 star review otherwise.

After two months, I have my first bees! I sprayed some lemongrass oil on the outside to help attract them - not sure if that’s why they arrived but it certainly doesn’t hurt. I checked again this morning and caught a bee sleeping inside. I highly recommend this bee house - I can’t wait to harvest the cocoons in the fall! Also, the holes for the acrylic cover DOES line up with the holes, you just need to move or flip them over to make them line up.

This item came to me unassembled, without all the parts. It's a great idea but the product is horrible and what product was sent was cheaply made.

I know someone else who has one of these and I just had to get one for myself. Love the way you can open it and see inside . I hope I get as many bees as they did.
