Jacobs Coffee Jacobs Kronung Decaf Ground Coffee, 17.6-Ounce Packages (Pack of 3)

I have bought Jacob coffee for years. It is not inexpensive coffee. I love the flavor. It is packaged in vacuum sealed packages. I received my order of three packages with one having vacuum seal broken. The coffee is no longer fresh.

This is a common and affordable brand in Germany and I'm thrilled to have access to it here in the US now. The roast is lighter than most brands otherwise available here. This gives the coffee a mild, well-rounded flavor that does not have to be covered up by flavored creamers or syrups. This decaf version does not taste any different than its caffeinated option. It does, however, give the relaxed feeling that comes with sipping on a hot cup of the perfect brew without contributing to caffeine headaches on days that I don't get to it.

I get the sense that this is the Folgers of Germany. Note that Jacobs Kronung Decaf is Made in Germany by Kraft Foods Germany. That being said, this is a flavorful yet mild coffee. It is also quite finely ground... a pleasant surprise for me since I use this daily in my Senseo single serve coffee brewer. Since I prefer a darker roast, I like (not love) this; but I will certainly purchase this decaf version again.

I served the Jacobs Decaf at a Christmas coffee to some of my friends, who wanted to know what brand of coffee this was because they enjoyed it so much. Personally I am delighted to be able to order Jacobs here in the US. It is the most flavorful coffee anywhere.

I love coffee and could drink it all day, but I have to limit my caffeine intake. I have tried a lot of different brands of decaffeinated coffee, without really finding any that I truly liked... Until this one! Jacobs Kronung delivers that perfect rich coffee taste that I absolutely love! If you're looking for a delicious decaffeinated coffee... Look no further!
