What a great kit! Fantastic price point and a large abundance of things I didn't even know that I needed. If you're getting into the craft of leatherwork, this kit is perfect and it gives you the opportunity to get higher quality items of the ones you use the most.

Very affordable comparing to the tools I looked at the local shop. Good for beginners, it has pretty much all items I need for my need.

I’ve wanted to try leather working—both construction and decoration—for a while, and this set of tools has impelled me to jump in. For a starter set, it’s pretty extensive, and I like that. I should be able to do a lot without having to invest in further equipment at this beginning stage.The tools mainly seem to be well made, and are neatly arranged in the case. It’s also handy to have the self-healing cutting mat, in its own pocket on the outside of the case.One thing I will be doing is adding a handle to the case. It will make it much easier to lug it around, when I need to. I plan to insert a fabric strip along inside of the spine of the case, and tie the ends together on the outside. That should work.My only issue is that the “instructions” are actually only a vague idea. They are certainly better than nothing at all, but I would have appreciated some more basic information and images. Not much more: I have already invested in several books on the subject. But basic information on the tools in the set, and good images of them, possibly while being used, would be an excellent addition.I have already started playing around with these tools, testing them out, and I’m happy to have them.

Many useful tools but the amount of needles and their quality were an issue.
