I was concerned that the fiberglass poles would break because my raised bed is only 32 inches wide. They did bend enough for this width and should accommodate a bed at least 48 inches wide. The instructions recommend using a minimum of 5 fiberglass sections. For beds over 48 inches a sixth piece might be desirable. The connectors fit quite loosely before the poles are bent so I preassembled them and secured them in place with duct tape. Although the connectors appear straight they have a crimp in the center that when faced toward the inside make the hoop easier to bend. Overall, these exceeded my expectations and were easy to assemble.

I was skeptical at first when the pieces for these hoops arrived as the individual rods didn't seem like they would bend at all. But I put five rods together and they bent into a hoop (with some pressure). They are strong and tall. Exactly want I wanted. Will be easier to store when not in use.

I ended up in the emergency room when I tried to bend the poles. That thing was too inflexible.

easy to use and since there are sections, you have a lot of flexibility as to length. They are up over my raised beds to hold the cover to keep frost off my veg. Recommend!

I tried to use these in my raised beds. The angle of the arch was tighter than they recommended. They did not hold up. Strong winds broke the rods. Maybe they should be given another chance following the instructions. That is the only reason that I did not make the rating lower.

These are great! I couldn't get a good loop with 5, so I used 6, but they're perfect. I plan to purchase more to make bigger loops on my other garden bed. Great for attaching chicken wire, or other fabric/plastic. Very easy to put together.

Nothing like I was led to believe by description

First time around, I accidentally lost my grip on a middle hoop of three while bending it to fit the raised bed and... woosh... off flew the hoop and the connector, never to be found again. I believe those items landed in Sri Lanka a few hours later... these are sturdy lengths of bendable, hard plastic with metal connectors that are bent to fit small to medium sized garden beds. They are of high quality and did not break when being bent to fit the width of the raised bed. If needed, would purchase once again.
