Great little machine
I have had this Plasma Cutter for almost a year now and have been really happy with it. I purchased it for a cnc cutting table as my old one was hf so would mess up the electronics. I have to say this little machine preforms better that my 1500.00 Miller and for the price you can't go wrong. The only problem I have had with it is recently the torch head stopped working and no matter how much I cleaned it could not get it to start working again. Bet the again I have cut a hell of a lot of metal with it.

Blew up around just two hours of use!
I bought this in January of 2024 and use it right away to cut some 1/8 angel iron for a battery box on my trailer and it worked fine. Also cut some 1/4 inch steel plate for ramps and it struggled but did the job. Haven't used it since. Today, about a year later, I was happy to have it on hand for another metal project. I was cutting from the same 1/4 plate when the 40 amp breaker popped. I flipped the switch off on the machine, flipped the breaker back on, but the cutter wouldn't turn back on. I opened it up to see if there might be an internal fuse and found nothing. No fuse, and no burnt parts. My welder runs on the same circuit so it's not that. I'm more a carpenter/plumber than a metal worker but I'm pretty sure I was doing everything right. Used the recommended settings and had a good clean ground and cutting area. It's dead. WTF!

Did not last long
This worked well for the 5 times I used it. With a loud pop and a little smoke it died. I would say you get what you pay for. Not happy with the longevity of the machine.

Second times a charm
I got this cutter for a project I've been wanting to start,I tested it out on few scrap pieces, worked better than I imagined, so now I have probably 10min or less run time on it and it quit on me in the middle of a cut, checked all connections, everything seems good, plugged in my welder witch is a tooliom tl-250m works amazingly, it has power, so I messaged tooliom about my plasma cutter not working, had to send them few pictures of it but they replaced it with no problem, had new one less than a week, couldn't be happier tooliom is the best, don't have much runtime on new one, but I'm sure I won't have any problems now I can finish my project

Why I bought this machine
Im a novice welder and was looking for an affordable cutter for hobbies/DIY and decided to get this machine. I want to share my research and what I learned so far. TOOLIOM sales two different models of the 50A plasma cutter a High Frequency Start and a Non High Frequency Start. A Non High Frequency Start is known as "Blow-back Start" (that's the term you google for info). Both machines are practically the same. The difference is how they start the cutting arc. There are two ways to start the cutting arc the Blowback Start and the High Frequency (HF) Start. The Blowback Start is a more modern technology developed by Hypertherm, the torch has a spring that is push by the compressed air to ignite the arc. In a High Frequency Start a high frequency pulse is generated to ignite the arc. Blowback allows for more effective/simpler machines without electrical noise. High Frequency Start relay on additional electronics to produce the start pulses, these pulses may interfere with electronics, computers, signals (bluetooth/wifi/radio), etc as such that's why they are not recommended for CNC. There seems to be a consensus that the modern cutters using HF produce less electrical noise but it all depends on the quality of the machine. A blowback start machine requires less power than a HF Start machine which also allows to push for a longer duty cycle. The Blowback Model comes with the IPT40 torch. This torch is more complicated and expensive (> $100). The quality of the IPT40 torch dictates the starting reliability. PT torches are the original torches made by TECMO. IPT torches are PT touches licensed to Innotec (China) and cloned by multiple Chinese manufactures. Consumables for a PT40 torch should fit the IPT40 torch. To find consumables search for PT40/IPT40. Note: there are forums warning that some IPT40 torches (clones) may have different dimensions and PT40 consumables may NOT perform good or cause arc starting issues and thus the recommend to buy consumables that are labeled for IPT40 (due to dimensional differences on the IPT40 clone torches). Sadly everything in Amazon for IPT40 is also labeled PT40 so I guess I will be a bit of trial and error. In the HF Start model the torch is a basic AG60 torch which is inexpensive (~ $30 compared to $120 for a IPT40 torch). Both torches use the "Euro Connector" (1.25"/32mm). Tooliom sales a spare torch AG60 for the High Frequency Model (with Tooliom colors and branding) https://www.amazon.com/TOOLIOM-Plasma-Cutter-Cutting-TL-50C/dp/B09RPVVTZP The IPT40 torch on the Non High Frequency Model appears to be a generic torch like others sold on Amazon. Both models use a PILOT ARC to ignite the actual cutting arc. The pilot arc allows to start and cut without touching the material. The other cutters are strike/drag. Pilot arc cutters allow to cut corners and non-flat surfaces with ease. Pilot arc are also less affected by rust, paint and oils in the material. Pilot arc also produce less slag and extend the life of your consumables (tip and electrode). You can also drag a pilot arc torch using a spacer guide. The Backblow (Non HF) model include a spacer guide. So why I pulled the trigger on this machine: This is small an affordable back-blow/pilot arc plasma cutter (compared to YesWelder, Lotos, etc) on the 50 Amp range available in Amazon, at least I didn't find anything comparable for this price. It doesn't have Torch Height Control (THC) but but can be hacked into a CNC (you can get a THC controller for less than $200). If you are looking for THC check Lotus for a $500 price range option. Good feedbacks on the quality relative to its price range. I found more authentic Youtube videos with positive comments rather than other machines where they ask the youtuber to review the machine. I really liked the build and aesthetics of the machine. While there is little info to assess the longevity of this machine, I don't plan to abuse this machine so I hope I can get a few year of use... I will update this post once my machine arrives and I put a couple of miles on it...

Company will not stand behind their product.
Made 2 cuts with this product and the product quit working. Jumped 3 weeks through hoops trying to get a resolution and still has not been resolved. I would not recommend this product or this company to anyone.
