A large decorative carpet on top of the installed living room carpet curled up at the edges creating a tripping hazard.I don't know how this tape will hold in the long run but after nearly two months the carpet is still being held down nice and flat at the problematic edges.I also can't testify about residue or if it may be difficult to remove later on since I haven't tried to move the carpet.Some of the reviewers said that the tape is difficult to install. I can see how it might be if it isn't done properly. The trick is to put the carpet that you want to be held down where it needs to go first, and bend it over to access the bottom of that carpet, then get only a FEW inches of the tape peeled off the roll, just enough to stick some to where you want to begin applying it onto the bottom, and then roll it out carefully while pressing it firmly against the bottom.DO NOT try pulling any length of the tape freely off the roll and then attaching it to the carpet. Any length of the tape in your hands is easily twisted, tangled, and will get stuck to itself, making an unusable sticky mess.This tape is VERY sticky!

Definitely did the job to stick the carpet down on our carpet in our apartment. Was surprised at well it adhered. Sis have to replace on one corner bc the tape had rolled but super great investment

This is a little hard to work with though. If not careful it can get stuck to itself and you will need to cut a new piece.

Easy to use

This is so sticky, it tried to grab the scissors! I got it for area-rug-to-carpet sticking and I'm very impressed!!

I used this to secure a light weight kitchen mat with a foam rubber backing. When I tried to remove it, it tore the foam backing off the mat. This would be fine for a heavier rug with a carpet backing.

I bought this tape after looking at reviews of many similar products. It is adhering foam cutouts to the inside of a resin cabinet and boy is it doing a great job! Very sticky, and adhering to two different materials.I mispositioned one of the cutouts the first time and had to pull it off. This was difficult to do! The tape did not want to disconnect from the product on either side. For me, this is a good thing. Overall I am impressed with this tape and its ability to glue to two different materials and hold in position.

We have a rug in a high traffic area that was starting to curl at the edges and bend out of shape, we were constantly tripping over it and ready to throw it out when we tried the tape - amazing. It stuck so well first shot, been down for months now with lots of traffic and daily vacuuming (I love that part the most that it stays put when vacuuming!) I'm kind of scared of how hard it will be to remove from the laminate flooring but it's probably still worth it.

Carpet tape is one of those things that it's hard to choose between brands. They all claim good adhesion and easy removal. Needing to secure down a large carpet in a very busy area, I selected this carpet tape. It was easy to install (even easier with a second set of hands). It is super-secure despite the small kids and heavy traffic. I haven't yet had to remove the tape off of the laminate flooring.

It is very sticky, very easy to use. So far no complaints and the carpet is secure. The carpet is a 10x8 so I affixed the tape on all 4 corners about 16" strips and the center. Its a heavy traffic area and no movement so far! Definitely recommend
