Q: The description says the height is 9" from the floor to the frame but elsewhere it says it's 6". What is the height?

I believe the difference is whether you have the “foot pegs” on or not.

Q: Can a footboard be attached?

You will have to buy an attachment, but with it, a footboard can be attached. I bought an attachment on Amazon for about $25 and attached a footboard.

Q: Will this accommodate at 48” wide mattress?

I have a queen-size mattress on it, so I’m not sure. The width is adjustable, so it may well fit a 48” mattress. The specifications on Amazon should indicate the range of adjustment. Check there?
