Ok, when you read the instructions, it will seem like a lot of work for multiple door installation because the mechanisms require accurate hole location within about 1mm. The instructions that are in the video are good, it's just a lot of work to measure and mark and drill so many times. You can save your self hours by using templates that are reversible for left and right sides as shown in the pictures. Align the templates with the bottom front edge of the cabinet and the top and side edges of the doors. Best to clamp the template to the door and cabinet when drilling the holes. Do one cabinet first to make sure your templates are accurate. Once your holes are drilled mount the two brackets on the cabinet and doors and then reattach the door hinges as in the video. Mount the hydraulic cylinder by pressing onto the two "balls" of the bracket. Check to door to see if it operates easily. If it does continue to remove all of the cabinet doors you are doing. Use the templates to drill all of the holes on both the cabinets and doors and repeat the installation. It took about an hour to remove all of the doors from the hinges, measure the hole locations as shown on the schematics for 80, 90, or 100 degree lifts and drill holes in the wood templates and mount the hardware and reinstall the door. Since my templates were accurate I drilled the remaining cabinets and doors and mounted the next 3 doors in about 30 minutes total. The trick is to work very slowly and make sure your templates are accurate. In the end it took me 1.5 hours to do my 4 doors and they work very smoothly. Since it takes a while and some people have complained about defective lifts, I bought 4 extra sets of lifts for $26 . This way, as time passes, and lifts fail I can just pull off the cylinder off the ball brackets and press on another with little or no work. Way easier than starting from scratch. Took a minute but worked okay when installed

As a full time RVer cabinet door that swing open can be a hazzard. I installed the gas struts and solved that problem. And they have enough tension to hold the doors closed during travel. Good product.

Very nice product . Needed two for a larger cabinet door over refrig . Works great . Written instructions were so so , but easy to figure out and install . Plenty of online help if needed . Would buy again .

One of the struts didn't work correctly. Got the other three working properly. Guess I'll have to deal with returns on this.. would be nice if they would just ship me one more. For $22 for four of them, you can't beat the price, if all four worked right. Would get 5 stars, if all of them worked.

Shocks work as advertised, easy to install, be sure you are purchasing the correct size, be sure to calculate newtons to avoid getting the wrong item. I recommend these I installed mine on a cabinet I made for a customer. The cabinet door was 57” by 10-1/2” I placed one on each side & they worked perfectly opened without hesitation.

Works very well for hidden N gun shelves

They didn’t work for what I wanted them for, but that is no one’s fault but my own. They seem to be quality pumps, and I’ll keep them for a future project!
