You can make this work! Read description!
This was perfect for my Mitsubishi Outlander Sport ES 2013 model. The only thing I had trouble with is the actual key itself (the part they grind) I couldn't find anyone who would grind it affordably, so I took the one off my old key (had to snap it off literally), then noticed that my key is flared out on the sides (base that inserts into plastic) and the one purchased (this one) was straight BUT, no worries, I took my dremmel and grinded down the flared out sides of my old one and it fit in perfect. Worked out amazingly! My advice: if you need a new key (the silver part) make sure you can find an affordable grinder, if not. You CAN make it work, mines like new! Just dremmel those sides down of your old key! If you need the chip, your SOL here. A++ soooo worth the $10 appose to $100+

Key blank is wrong size.
The key fobs on my daughter’s Mirage were broken, so she couldn’t put it on a key ring. So I bought this to fix it for her. The new key blank was the wrong size, so I had to take it out and put in the old key. The problem was that he old key didn’t screw in, so I had to smash the fob to get it out. Plus the old key was wider where it entered the fob, so it had to file it down to fit the new fob. It eventually worked and it was cheaper than the dealer, but be ready to work to get it to fit.

The fob itself was sound and good quality. The only reason I didn't give it ...
Amazon's part checker thing says this is okay for a 2011 Mitsu Endeavor. It is NOT. The case visually looks exactly the same and all the old components fit, but the part of the key itself that's screwed in to the case is perfectly straight, whereas the 2011 Endeavor's key is flared. This will prevent the key from being inserted into the new fob. Everything else fits flawlessly, but without the key...I can't really rate this as one star, as its not the product's fault, it's the fault of Amazon's database of what is okay for what car. The fob itself was sound and good quality. The only reason I didn't give it five is one of the buttons was smudged, as showed in the picture.

Key works!
First off the key is longer than original key. Locksmiths may be reluctant to cut it due to it being longer than original. I went to two locksmith to get it cut because of the length of the key. The second locksmith cut it and it worked great. I transferred the transponder from the old key case to the new cut key case and works. I am happy with it because I didn't have to pay dealer price which would be near $300.00

After installation, my car thought it was being stolen! My car locked up and refused to start
Works great! The only issue is that our car realized we switched the key, after letting us use it two or three times, the car refused to start. We have to get a locksmith to fix it. Something about the transponder was not making contact with metal in the key, and the car thought we were stealing it. I bought a new starter for my car because we didn’t even think the key was the issue!!! Just a heads up to the next person. Have someone switch the electronics for you!!!!! Or your car will refuse to start at all, and you could get stuck somewhere. Ours worked two days after we installed the new key, and it took three car starts for the car to lock up!! Otherwise this is an awesome replacement. I also purchased a silicone key cover so this never happens again lol

Don’t listen to bad reviews!
Works 100% after switching the remote internals to this one. Got the key cut for free at Home Depot! And after switching the remote internals from my old key, car turns on just fine. You may say the key in the photo looks different but that’s a key cover so it can protect it when it’s drop. (Cover also bought on amazon)

Select the correct blade.
Rarely do I write a review for a product, but for this key fob exceeded my expectations. The hook on my key fob broke and wouldn't attach to a key ring. All of the inside parts were still in the case. After speaking with the dealership and being told it would cost me $75-$200 to repair or completely replace my key. I decided to try buying this key fob, of course after careful research. The key fob arrived fast. I had the blade cut at a local hardware store and the clerk couldn't believe that I was attempting to fix my key instead of going to dealership. So of course, he decided he wanted to be a part of my repair key fob experience. He cut the blade, replace the inside parts and the key worked mostly. It started the car up. Then after getting home my husband saw the key was partially put together correctly. He would the metal piece the clerk didn't put inside the fob and replaced it. The fob works just like new- locking and unlocking again! Even on a key chain. Be Careful to select the correct blade. I had a new key for a fraction of what dealership quoted me.

This ad is misleading as it indicates it will fit a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor, then in the fine print it indicates only for keys with a right side groove. Waste of money.
