Functionality great.
With Grin software (free download from their website) I easily reprogrammed my Grin DC controller. Recommend screenshots of settings prior to tweaking JIC.

Of No Use to Me For Programming Cycle Satiator
The cable I got was the latest, to my knowledge, Rev II version. It has a TRRS 3.5mm plug instead of the eairlier TRS plug. The additional Ring supplies current limited +5v, not that it's needed to program the Satiator. After some back & forth with GRIN, I wired a TRRS jack to my XLR connector that plugs into the Satiator. I loaded their software on both my Mac and Widows desktops. I had fewer problems connecting with the Mac app than I did wither the Windows app, which would connect, but would disconnect for no apparent reason, lock up and sometimes give me weird errors. None of that using the Mac. However, I could only read the current setting programmed into my Satiator. If I made changes and saved them, the popup window would say the save was successful, but if I read the Satiator to conform the write, it was usually unchanged or only one of the changed settings actually went through.

Nice long cable. Just a note the cable after unwinding was still very kinky. Run the cable under HOT water to soften the covering. Then pull/dry the cable we a dry towel. For storage coil in a circle. And put back in the shipping bag.
