Excellent product
At first, I was skeptical about buying a refurbished device, but I finally convinced myself after reading about this company's reputation. The device arrived on time, just as promised. It's in good condition with only a few very minor imperfections on the front frame—I emphasize that they are barely noticeable. The battery health was at 92%, and it came with a charger, but the included cable wasn't the right one; they sent a USB-C to USB-C cable instead of a USB-C to Lightning cable. I would like to receive the correct cable from the seller. I waited a week before writing this review to be as honest as possible, and I don't think the device will have any problems going forward. Therefore, I recommend this seller 90%, deducting points only because of the incorrect charging cable.

Greet value and excellence condition as described
I have been buying refurbished iPhones from Amazon for years. It works great, very clean and described. No scratches on the screen. Easy to use, easy to set up. Best value for your buck. Since it’s unlocked, you can take it to any carrier. I’ll be buying again in the future.

good value for money
For the money, it's a good phone. battery only at 89% but i guess that's better than it could be. Still, i think renewed phone should come with battery life 90%+. took about 30 minutes to update and sync but worked well once completed. no scratches or damages. good value for money. sim card was plug n play from previous iphone. sadly i don't really like the new ios 26 update lol but thats not the sellers fault. Came with charging cable and charging block (usb-c) but no original iphone packaging. still i appreciate the charging block and cable that was a nice touch considering apple doesn't even do that these days

Flawless iPhone 13 Pro Max – Exceeded Every Expectation!
This renewed iPhone 13 Pro Max is absolutely perfect! It arrived in pristine, premium condition, unlocked so I could use with a provider of my choice—no scratches, no blemishes, —honestly, it looks great, like it came straight from the Apple Store. The seller shipped it immediately, even before my payment processed, and it arrived two days earlier than expected. Was simple to transfer from my previous iPhone to this one. Packaging was top-notch so as to protect the screen and the device itself, battery life is an impressive 98%, and every function works flawlessly. On top of that, I had a question right after shipping, and the seller responded quickly and clearly. I am beyond thrilled with this purchase—truly a five-star experience in every way!

Great phone for the price. Better than I expected
Just received it today, set it up and it's working perfectly. The screen is pretty much like new. The back is in perfect condition. The top of the phone has a scratch where it took off the paint. But, that's to be expected when buying a used phone. I just recommend wiping or resetting the phone completely before you start using it. Mine arrived without being reset. Overall I'm really happy with my purchase. And it arrived on the day it said it would!!

Refurbished iPhone was good as new!
First time I ever bought a refurbished iPhone and it was excellent. Easy to buy, 2/3 the price, and high quality. I did not buy the premium renewal (no scratches and battery 90%+ health) but the standard which Amazon said wound be scratches you can’t see from arm’s length and battery health 80%+. The condition was near perfect. No noticeable scrapes at any distance. Looked good as new. Battery health 83%. The config was easy. I had my existing phone next to it and used the Apple method to copy everything phone to phone. Took 30 minutes but everything copied over including photos, messages, apps, settings, logins, Safari bookmarks, wallpaper, passwords, WIFI SSIDs/passwords, and even contact photos. Only logins I had to re-do were TFA and Authenticator, which is to be expected. I am using this new phone on my sailboat for WIFI only. Instead of spending $6000 for data displays on my mast I bought the iPhone 13 Pro Max for $450 plus a $50 bracket. It’s an unlocked iPhone (no carrier or SIM card) and by simply skipping the option to insert a SIM or use an eSIM, it configured and put me on WIFI automatically. All my apps and subscriptions work fine on the new phone plus old. Subscriptions are AppleID or user-login based not device based so you can reuse all your premium apps. AppStore also worked as well as getting iMessage on both phones now even without the cell services (since it’s data). So, very cost effective solution! I looked into doing this with my carrier (Verizon) but you had to activate a new line which I didn’t want to do. Plus their selection of used phones was not as good as Amazon and the new phones are much more expensive if you are not trading in. So this is a great Amazon service!

doubted it but damn its great
I wasn't really gonna write a review on this but I have to! I am amazed at how I got my phone in the condition it came in . it said excellent condition , and it really is . I am really picky with my electronics , always wanting them to look perfect , no scratches or bumps . and this did not fail me. no scratches at all on the screen and maybe some small ones in the back that you really had to look for but with a case on its not an issue. cameras were also not scratched and everything works, from the cameras , to the speakers and the whole software of the phone is good and up to date. the only flaw, was how it had 88% battery life. on the description it says that having up to 80% will still land it on excellent condition , so I can't knock a point because I knew, and getting a new battery will be about 90$ according to apple. I did talk to one of my buddies that works on phones and said he doesn't recommend me to replace the battery as it still is healthy. and I have been using it for a week and it really doesn't need one. I had an iPhone 12 and I used it almost every day at work playing videos on the background , and it would last me about 7-8 hours and then id have to charge it considering my work days are 10 hours. with this phone , I literally come out of work with about 40-65% battery still. all it all , this is great , it was one of the best prices I could find for a used iPhone 13 Pro Max and im am actually really satisfied with my purchase . I also stayed with the 13 instead of the newer ones because it has a SIM card tray still and because it does not have the dynamic island that the new ones have as I think it takes up more screen when watching videos compared to the small notch on the 13. I wish it did have the stabilizing camera feature for when I walk my dog and want to take stable videos , but I don't mind that . this phone when it came out was beloved by every one and I think its still a great buy for 2024.

IT FINALLY WORKS!!!
Aside from the phone being nearly perfect, no visible signs of wear and tear, no delays (after updating and restoring), unlocked, and the battery is good (84% health). (lengthy story and complaint incoming) However, (and hopefully this helps someone else who faces the same problem) I’m giving it 3 stars because I had the worse experience setting it up. Not to mention the charging cable that came with it didn’t work. Anyway, to the pressing issue here I did what I would normally do when setting up a new iPhone and followed the prompts to transfer my data through the cloud onto this device. However, due to the phone’s software being completely outdated (ios18, we’re on 26) it caused the phone to completely glitch out midway and got extremely hot. I couldn’t swipe up to input my passcode to proceed with the installation process. Heck, I couldn’t even force restart it. (quickly press the volume up, volume down immediately after and press and hold the power button until you see the Apple logo) I was almost at my wits end. Fast forward, the device is still glitchy so I reached out to Amazon Customer Care and was advised that I should take it into Apple and if they couldn’t do anything then to proceed with returning it. I obviously didn’t wanna do that. So I attempted to research the issues and after being pulled between Apple’s forum and Reddit’s forum, I decided to put the iPhone in DFU mode. This mode allows you to update and restore the phone via a computer. So boom, it’s in DFU mode and i’m still struggling! So I contact Apple but of course before doing so I see if they’re able to replace a software defective device out of warranty and of course it was a hard no. At this point, I’m ready to give up and just return it but after letting it die out (due to overheating) I let it charge overnight and said “let’s give this oneee more try.” So, I plugged it back into my computer.. same issue. It would pretend to restore and update the device but I would get an error message midway and couldn’t get my phone out of DFU. Only way to get it out was by completing the restoration. Anyway, I looked up the error message it mentioned that it could be a software issue (tell me something i don’t know 🤷🏽♀️) or it could be a charger cable issue.. Hmm 🤔 So I switched charging cables (even bought a new one that I would later use) and low and behold the update and restoration finally WORKED… So all in all, I say all of that to say; if you’re having issues with accessing and fully using your new iPhone. It’s more than likely because its software is extremely outdated. What worked for me: Put your phone in DFU mode (look it up if unsure how). Download either Apple Devices (Windows) or iTunes (Mac). While in DFU mode, plug the device up using a USB to lightning Apple Certified cable. A prompt will display saying error something would you like to proceed with restoring or updating? Click “restore” and then “update and restore” (for some reason it didn’t work clicking update first) it’ll take some time but after that it should go through the process of updating and restoring back to the factory settings and then you can proceed with setting the iPhone up as normal. (important!!! the cable needs to be APPLE CERTIFIED not the one from sheetz up the street) I haven’t experienced any delays or issues since updating to the latest version of iOS but i’m giving 3 stars because 1.) the charger it came with didn’t work. and 2.) because i feel like a little help card should’ve been included considering it didn’t have the latest version of iOS on there. Hopefully, TalkTek takes this review into consideration to include a little note in the packaging on updating the device.
