Q: How long is the chain?

I gave this as a gift for my 10 year old granddaughter. She wears it all the time. It is not any shorter than 16" as another reviewer reported. The chain has a 2" expander so you can shorten or lengthen according to where you clasp it. I am very pleased and would buy it again. The cross is a little larger than what I thought but I bought it for a keepsake she will grow into. As I said, she wears it all the time now as a fourth grader.
