Excellent Epoxy Coloring Results
This Black Epoxy Pigment worked great for a small project I had, using BSI-205 Slow-Cure 2-part epoxy as an engraved text fill in wood. I added one drop of the pigment to 5g of mixed epoxy, and the result was very black. The pigment did not appear to affect the epoxy cure at all, and I'll certainly be using it in future projects.

Pitch black!
A couple drops definitely do the trip. I forgot I bought this a few years ago and finally got around to using it. Instant pitch black epoxy with just a few drops

Excellent coloring dye for all epoxy adhesives and fillers
Best epoxy specific dye I’ve ever used. It works for any epoxy adhesive or filler as long as you only need black. The photos show a recent repair I completed on a $250 Kohetsu Bunka knife handle that came loose. The wood Wa handle on the Kohetsu knife had round gaps that I had to fill with kneadable epoxy filler. The kneadable epoxy filler would NOT take wood stain despite claims that it would. This epoxy dye rescued a potentially ugly outcome on the handle repair. I used a small brush to a tiny amount of this black dye to the whitish epoxy filler and it worked great. I’ve also used this dye to repair the edges of black kitchen cabinets damaged by bottles and cans. It worked great. I don’t use enough of this dye to whine about the price because it’s so concentrated it will probably last me another 10 years. Great product! Wish it came in more colors.

Doesn't affect curing
I tested this pigment before using it, and it works just fine. Making a black on black handle for tools and knives means I need to use a black adhesive too...or sunlight will glint off tiny fills and squeeze-out. A couple of drops of this during the mixing process makes the epoxy black, and doesn't affect the hardness once fully cured. I imagine going higher on the number of drops would make this even shinier, but all I am trying to do is blend adhesive with pins and joints. Just a dab works well.

Worked great in the epoxy
Bought this to use with epoxy on a live edge table to fill voids and cracks that were there. This gave the epoxy a nice deep black that turned out really well. Highly recommend

Works great; very concentrated.
Works very well. I used this to color epoxy resin, and needed a high opacity level to hide a silver colored substrate. The epoxy layer could only be approximately .050 inch thick, but with just 2 or 3 drops of colorant the silver substrate was completely invisible. I first thought that the package amount was rather small, but after first use i realized with its’ high concentration it will last me a long time for occasional use. I am also pleased by the rapid and free shipping, and that Composi-Mold appears to be an American company-nice to see on Amazon market place listings.

A little bit goes a long way
I tried another brand that was rated pretty high that sold 10 bottles at what appeared to be a bargain price. However this stuff is thick and gooey and a little bit goes a LONG way. I use maybe a drop or two in a cup of epoxy to get the black I want. I found I couldn't even use the other stuff because it was kind of watery and when I put enough in the epoxy to get it opaque black the epoxy wouldn't cure right. I guess the saying you get what you pay for applies here. For large epoxy pours I will try using this along with some sort of carbon black powder to hopefully get the blackness I want at an economical price.

So black.
Love this liquid pigment. It is so black. Inkey dark blackness. I mean it's kind of shocking how black it is. Just a few drops in a cup full of resin turns it too dark to see through. I'd like to mess around with gradients of black to see if you can get some smokiness, but in the end I'd probably just buy something specifically for that.

Used this for the first time and you only need a few drops to make the resin very black.

This dye is amazing! In 200ml's of Resin you only need a couple of drops & you have a solid black colour I love it. I have been waiting patiently for it to come back in to stock & when it finally did I brought 2 bottles in case it sells out again. Going to try some of the other colours they do now.
