Just when you thought it was safe to read an early reader . . . SHARK! This fun Step 1 book about two sharks is a study in opposites. Big Shark has big teeth; Little Shark has little teeth. Big Shark swims fast; Little Shark swims slow. But they are both hungry! Will they each succeed in finding a tasty snack? Little Shark is hoping that he won’t become fast food for Big Shark! Step 1 Readers feature big type and easy words for children who know the alphabet and are eager to begin reading. Rhyme and rhythmic text paired with picture clues help children decode the story. Review: Great - Great Review: Great for any age and easy fun to read - Easy to read and hold in my kid's hands. Great quality. The book was short but still had them excited. I will keep buying more books like this.

The Shark Book That Devours Kids’ Attention… and Parents’ Patience
This book is basically toddler gold — kids LOVE it, like ask‑for‑it‑every‑night levels of obsession. The bright colors, the silly shark antics, the easy rhythm… it’s all perfectly engineered to hook little brains. But for parents? Yeah, the repetition will wear you down. After the 20th read‑through, you’ll be reciting it from memory while questioning your life choices. Still, it’s a great memory builder for your little ones, and they genuinely get a kick out of it every time. Rating: 4/5 — kid‑favorite, parent‑fatigue, but adorable overall.

Great book for toddlers
This is a great book for young kids who are starting their reading journey, as the sentences are small, concise and make sense on their own, with slight humor. Highly recommended!

Excellent early reader
Great story for early readers. It’s funny and my 2 and 5 year old both enjoy it. Repeats words throughout plus few words per page, which is especially helpful for early reading.
