I bought this surge protector for my home and it has been an excellent purchase. The design is modern, and the night light is soft and pleasant, perfect for a bedroom or hallway without being too bright at night. It offers multiple outlets and USB ports, including USB-C, which is very convenient for charging phones and other devices without extra adapters. It feels solid, safe, and well made. Regarding the USB charging performance: it delivers a total output of 4.5A (22.5W) across all four ports. The USB-C port provides a dedicated 5V/3A (15W) max, which offers a decent "smart" charging speed for modern smartphones and tablets. The three USB-A ports are rated at 2.4A each. While these are great for standard mobile devices, note that they do not support high-speed Power Delivery (PD) for laptops or Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The built-in night light with a dusk-to-dawn sensor is a high-end touch that adds a lot of value. My only real critique is the port distribution; I wish it had at least one more USB-C port given how many devices are moving to that standard. Overall, it’s a robust, space-saving power hub that feels very well-engineered.

Great features and performance, I have them all over my house now. I installed these on brand new Leviton outlets also, not the cheapo contractor-variety. Nightlight with sensor is a great plus and has a button to turn the feature on/off also.

I wanted some surge protection as well. I also wanted to have the nightlights available by exit doors in the event of a fire/smoke. I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of different devices here on Amazon. This brand, Addtam, seemed to be a popular brand with high ratings/reviews. I felt the price was reasonable too. I found that these are bright enough to give enough light, but not excessively so. I like that these have a sensor so that they come on automatically at night or in not enough lighting otherwise. I like that they also have the option to touch them with your finger and turn off/on the sensor and light. In the majority of cases, the 5-outlet splitter is plenty. Any more than that is really too much on an outlet in my opinion. I ordered 5 of these and all of them work flawlessly thus far. I also liked that they come with a screw so that you can secure them to the existing outlet for stability. They are bulky but are aesthetically pleasing for the most part.
