Great trays for freezing/storing leftovers or family meals

Used them last Christmas to make family gatherings less stressful. The trays are not flimsy so even with the weight of the food kept their rigidity quite well. Found them really useful and was even able to re-use some of the trays as were on the whole easy to clean. Still have some left over for this year!!

We purchased these to guarantee no washing up after entertaining for friends and a young family. They work out cost effective compared to others offered by many high street supermarkets and the Robert Dyas chains when we compared at the time of buying. This size fits side by side in most standard ovens and meant we were able to get two trays in lengthways in our oven on each shelf and, with a few shelves, got 8 trays in total to fit cooking at once. Not something we would have achieved with our standard pots and roasting dishes. I know this will come in handy for parties and Christmas lunches etc and the reason we chose this size. They seem to be really efficient at conducting heat and we weren't left with burning where the food was in contact with the foil, the lids of course help keep moisture in if needed during the cook. Minimal oil was used on any item that was roasting and there was no stick at all. The only think to note is that they won't take a lot of weight. We had a pork joint roasting in one and required a lot of support to stop the foil tray bending or collapsing under this weight. However with a bit of support underneath it was easy to transfer to and from the oven. Just be mindful of hot oil or liquid if the sides are carrying unnecessary weight. Will definitely get these again for when "ease" of use is needed.

Good value

These trays are perfect for batch cooking and putting in the freezer for another day. They’re a good size for making a meal for 4 adults and they’re sturdy enough that I didn’t need to worry about moving them from the worktop to the oven/freezer once full. I’ll be buying them again when I need to.
