Try it!
My cats loved this brand, after going off of all of Purina's wet cat food that they had been on for years. It was a relief to finally find something they're enjoying.

Weruva Nine Liver Cat Food
Maggie loves this chicken and liver dinner. I do have to cut up the shreds a bit while it's in the can, using kitchen shears, otherwise she leaves the longest shreds, but that's no problem, just a minute of clipping insures that she eats the whole thing. In addition to the Weruva she gets a bit of a non-grain Fromm dry product in a cup, but there's always leftover in the cup in the morning, whereas if I clip the chicken into tiny pieces she eats it all.Since being on the Weruva she begs for her supper, and waits imperiously while I prepare it, then runs to her "table" to eat. When I open the can the food looks and smells good, which is because the chicken is human grade. I do add a bit of a special kitty nutrient to each portion, because Maggie isn't the kitten she used to be but is now a gorgeous, mature lady with a fabulous fur coat, for which I credit Weruva 'cause she wasn't eating anything so eagerly before. She's now Marilyn, when before she was Twiggy.

Don’t buy this.
I had ordered this cat food twice. First time was about a month ago and it came and seemed fine. Second time I ordered was a week and a half ago and when it came it smelled awful and had a film on the top I’d never seen before in cat foods. I googled some cat food issues and from what I found I assume it either had a bacterial issue and was cooked incorrectly/incomplete. Had to throw away every single case and there’s no way to contact the company through Amazon so I had to request a refund from Amazon. Do not buy this cat food. I’ve tried so many brands for my cats and have been feeding them 100% wet for 2 years now. Please take care of your kitties and make sure the food you’re feeding them is safe.

Real food - for cats!
I feel weird reviewing cat food. It's cat food after all. But, we don't just give our cats any old food these days. Everything has to be better, grain free, extra this and improved that. Sometimes I think the critters eat better than me! Regardless, the Weruva canned food is pretty darn good. It looks like real food! The chicken flavor looks like I just poached a chicken breast and shredded the meat with a little gravy on it. It even smells like real food! The chicken and beef is the same way. In fact, the shrimp and seafood one has actual shrimp in it; not just ground up bits. There are recognizable pieces of whatever flavor inside. On top of all that, it has the required grain free, starch free, and everything else that we wanted to give our kitties. The cats are healthy and have a nice shiny coat so I am pleased with this food more so than any other cat food.

So-so
I wish the cats had loved this, since it's obviously organ meat and therefore pretty good for them. However, it received a mediocre reaction, as if they preferred something else but this would do in a pinch. It looks lovely, smells okay, and they did keep it down. Nevertheless, I can't see continuing to get stuff that they may or may not eat. Too much wasted.

Seriously pricey
My cat ate it...but not with any gusto! These cans are "teensy," and the price is GI-normous! If Katycat went ape for it...I'd pay the price and bite the bullet, as she is old, and slowing more and more each week. But my humble opinion is "Meh..."

Outback Grill is My Cat's Favorite Cat Food by Far! You can Actually See Pieces of Fish!
The media could not be loaded. Let me preface by saying I strive to get healthy cat food for my 3 cats, but this doesn't do any good if they won't eat it. I have a young adult and two 6 month old kittens. All three devoured this can in a matter of minutes! The can I am reviewing is the Outback Grill by Weruva which contains Sardines, Trevally and Barramundi. If you are looking for a cat food that actually contains the food it states, then look no farther. There are huge chucks of fish, this is not ground up into a pate so you have no clue what is in the can. Look at the pictures; you will see heads, bones and chunks of fish. The bones are a good thing for cats; do not be appalled by them. This cat food is grain free which is a plus for cats. There are NO fillers such as cranberries, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, broccoli, blueberries, peas or bananas! I can’t begin to tell you how many cat foods I come across that are filled with unnecessary fillers. Most people just see the “grain free” and they don’t realize that the other unnecessary items are still packed inside the can. Remember, cats are carnivores and are supposed to eat meat, not veggies. The cans are a 3 oz. single size serving so I don't end up with opened cat food cans lying around. The cans have easy pop top lids so no need for a can opener which is another plus.My cats know when I am opening the Outback Grill; they smell it and come running. This is by far their favorite cat food. When they were small, I would break up the pieces of fish a little bit for them. I would just use the lid to chop up the chunks. Now as they are getting older, I don’t need to do this as much. The only complaint I have is when cats eat fish, their cat box tends to stink a bit more if you know what I mean. There is definitely a stronger smell than if they eat chicken. It’s not that big of a deal, because I clean it fast whether they eat chicken or fish, this is just an observation.I would recommend this cat food especially for finicky cats, because mine are very finicky when it comes to cat food. Don’t even try to feed them food that has all kinds of veggies ground up into a pate, they know and won’t even take a bite. However, they lick the plate clean when I feed them Outback Grill.
