Labra Dog Front Leg Brace - Compression Wrap with Adjustable Straps - Dog Wrist Brace for Support - Leg Sleeve to Stop Licking - Aid in Wound Care and Recovery - Large/Extra Large

This fairly simple brace has been a tremendous help. When my dog had his cast removed he wasn’t allowed to lick his leg which could lead to infection. The vet suggested I put a small sock on under the brace (toes cut out) and the brace holds it in place. Works great, much better than the cone of shame.

My daughter found this brace on Amazon & I believe it’s going to work very well!!! I’ve been fighting with my lab for days because he’s tore up his front leg with a chewing/licking issue he’s developed. Good thing is, he lets me bandage his leg however somehow he always works the bandage down & uncovers the wound so he can lick more! This brace allows me to bandage & cover his injured leg. So far the brace has not bothered him in the least! We have snow here so this will also protect the bandage from him getting it wet & rolling around in the snow! He also has a hind leg issue that causes him to limp. Vet says it’s arthritis. Once this wound heals I may try the brace as re-enforcement for him for that leg. Not sure if it will work but sure worth a try for him!

It was a real nice quality but unfortunately the size description are not accurate. I have a golden retriever and I asked for a large to extra large and the product looked like it was meant for a medium size pup. So I would suggest going a size bigger.

My poor lab tore her ACL and the vet said we’re basically working with the recovery she already has. I picked this up hoping it might give her a little extra support, and so far it’s been really helpful. She seems to have most trouble with stairs and getting across a larger room. This fits well, stays in place, and seems to give her some additional stability when she’s moving around. Hoping it continues to help her heal a bit more.

My Dobe has lick granuloma and I’ve tried every type of bandage to try to keep him from making an open wound on his right front leg. He favors 2 spots simultaneously ; one on the middle of the front paw area and the other about 3” above this so it’s been difficult to wrap and the bandages only last until I take my eyes off him for a second. I ordered this leg brace hoping it would cover both spots and take him longer to remove it giving me time to intervene. He’s had it on for the past 2 days now and that’s a record! It’s very well made and flexible enough for him to run and play with my other Dobes while remaining securely in place. I was careful not to over tighten it so as to not cause swelling of his paw. I’m obviously still keeping him under surveillance as he’s a menace but I’m very glad I ordered it as it has given me some breathing space and saved his leg from becoming a chewed up mess. The vendor is a small business which I’d rather support than the big box ones and it looks like they have put a lot of thought and effort into making their product - thank you Labra Dog!

EDIT: After this scathing review, they finally reached out to me to replace the one I bought that did not work. The new one does work, well enough. My earlier review simply pointed out that I believed their insert that said to email them if there is a fit problem, instead of returning to Amazon. I am sure they are trying to preserve their Amazon internal ratings by including such an insert with directions. But then they did not do what they said they would do, and I missed the return window, so that was frustrating. After I left the review below they finally made good on their promise to replace the one I purchased. So if you buy, know that their insert may be full of empty promises, and choose the right size for your dog. Likely you need smaller than you might think. Is it the best? I don't know, it could have two straps around instead of one, but it works well enough. ________________________ Original review: At first I thought their customer service was absolutely incredible. They have an insert in the package that says "If you need another size, just email us directly." I usually go through Amazon for that stuff but thought, it is inexpensive, I will give them a shot and email them instead. They keep a better sales rating that way. And wow, they wrote write back and said "don't return it, we will send you a new one right away in the smaller size since this one did not work, and then just keep the old one and donate it to a shelter." Wow, what great service, I thought. .... 3 weeks later, I email again, and they respond right away and say "sorry the label did not have your name, it is going out today now that we have your name." 3 weeks later, nope. ... ...So I email again, nicely, and guess what? No reply this time. And again. They suckered me in, not once but 3 times. So, if you want an exchange of this product, USE AMAZON and DO NOT EMAIL THEM expecting good service. Maybe the product works, but I will never know.

After 3 days of use the Velcro is coming apart and there is very little support

My dog fell off the stairs in the basement and hurt the first joint above her front paw. It was a severe sprain and when I took her in to get it looked at again, my vet liked how it wrapped around for support on both sides. I tried the Velcro pads up at the top but they slid down her leg easily and didn’t give any support. So I flipped it upside down, and it held wonderfully. The other issue was the Velcro pads wore down and I had to get another one after they wouldn’t hold anymore. Putting a stronger Velcro pad, or more durable one would be great. Otherwise it did the job it needed to after I tweaked it a bit.

Love this brace, Radar our lab torn all the ligaments in his front left foot and he has stopped limping and can walk in the house without it. We have just started him walking daily again after about a month. Great product and would recommend it to anyone who loves their dog

These braces have been a godsend. My elderly wire vizsla, nearly 13 years old has very arthritic wrists. One wrist gets inflamed, he limps on it + it regularly collapses when out. The other wrist is extremely nodular. The only treatment for him is management + these braces are a big part of this. Since wearing them on walks he appears much more comfortable and supports the wrist that gives out so that it no longer does. I showed his Vet them together with a video of him trotting around with them and the Vet wholeheartedly agrees they are well worth him wearing + it means he can still go out for normal walks without restricting him on lead. I got the large and they are a perfect size for him. Edited... Since writing this review, I have found within a short time the velcro on the main part of the brace to which the velcro straps attach are detatching. This stitching has come away on both braces, so not sure how long these braces will last like this, we are trying hard to not let any more stitching break when we undo the straps after use but as the dog uses these 2x a day it is difficult.
