Works fine for my Canon Vixia. It's good not to worry about the battery dying while recording a long program.

Tengo tres cámaras Canon VIXIA HF R800 que uso regularmente para grabaciones largas, por lo que decidí comprar tres de estos cargadores para poder mantenerlas encendidas sin preocuparme por la batería. Puedo decir con total confianza que estos adaptadores funcionan perfectamente y son 100% compatibles con la entrada de carga de las cámaras. La conexión es segura y estable, sin falsos contactos ni sobrecalentamientos. Lo he usado en sesiones de grabación prolongadas y el rendimiento ha sido constante. También es ideal cuando conecto las cámaras al computador o TV para transferir o visualizar contenido, ya que no tengo que depender de la batería interna. El adaptador parece bien construido, y me da tranquilidad saber que cuenta con certificaciones como CE, FCC y RoHS, además de protección contra sobrecarga y sobrecalentamiento. No he tenido ningún problema de compatibilidad ni funcionamiento desde el primer uso. si tienes una Canon HF R800 (o cualquier modelo listado en la descripción), este cargador es una excelente alternativa al original, funcional, segura y mucho más económica. Muy recomendado para quienes usan sus cámaras de forma intensiva.

It fits and works
Some trepidation buying a third-party adapter. But this one fits properly and works. And for a great price. That's all I can ask for.

I had two questions about this charger when considering whether I should buy it-- 1) will it fit the port on the Vixia HF R800 camcorder, and 2) will it actually charge the battery. As for point 1, yes-- the cable fits snugly into the port of the Vixia HF R800. It's not loose and doesn't fall out like some other reviews said. As for point 2, there's a line under the product description that says it will "provide constant power to your camera, but it will not charge batteries." Thankfully this isn't the case-- it DOES charge the battery (when the camera is off). If your battery is dead or missing, you can also use this as a power cable to run the camera via a wall outlet (the cable cord is thankfully pretty long). So, overall, does what it needs to do and I'm happy with my purchase :)
