Janus, the God of transition, duality, and new beginnings, is depicted in this unique dieselpunk display variant. Steampunk components comprised of lost wax brass castings further reiterates it's Greek origins due to the manufacturing process. The parallels of organic vs. inorganic and man's ascension through technology as our "new beginning" keep with the Greek ideals this God's lore holds true. There is also a sense of modern primitivism within this piece that echos an alternate history culture of unknown origins. A truly interesting center piece. Materials include cast resin, upcycled metal hardware, brass castings, bullet casing, clock parts, and antiqued pewter patina. Piece sealed in resin to prevent tarnish or exposure to outside elements.
