Hi, thank you for your question regarding the Hot Tools Pro Artist Black Gold 2000 Watts Ionic Hair Dryer. Remove the end cap by rotating counterclockwise until it detaches from the dryer. (NOTE: The end cap may hinge downward or upward instead of rotating and may not be completely removable from the dryer.) To replace the end cap, align the end cap’s tabs with the indentations inside the back grill of the hair dryer. Rotate the end cap clockwise until it locks into place. Thank you!
