I make music boxes and this box is perfect for my projects!

Arrrr Matey... this box is very basic but well made and super fun to decorate. I added some personality with a wood burner, stain, spray shellac, a little felt and an old map... and of course pirate themed silver!!!

I feel like it’s a bit pricy and if you aren’t interested in a DIY you should just get a finished box for a better price. However diy was what I needed for a very specific centerpiece for an art show. Because it was for that I was hypercritical of every bit of it. It’s wood which is subject to elements some but I still did not like the lid wasn’t flesh against main part when closed but after I painted it it wasn’t really noticeable. The locking mechanism works perfectly though which is why I chose this box over anything else. The key is tiny and there’s only one but I put it on a chain. All in all it was still the only diy box like this out there with this type of lock which I really wanted and the quality is very good just not perfect. It’s not a huge box at all.

Can’t wait to decorate this. It is absolutely adorable… And it comes with its own key… I love it.

Product was extremely small.

Previously rated a 1 due to a malfunctioning lock. Got sent a new one fairly quickly and it works perfectly! Had some nicks and dents and the beginnings of some cracks that could impact the structural integrity in the future, so it’s down to 4 stars, but it’s otherwise great!

Product came defective but i will say it would have been the perfect little box.

Magnifique, vraiment magnifique petite boîte,… en bois naturel! (marre du plastique !) Bonnes dimensions, même si je recherchais une boîte de 30cm de longueur. Juste une remarque pour la serrure… il y a un peu d’imprécision au niveau de la clé. La clé bouge quand même beaucoup.

On trouve rarement dans le commerce (Magasins dédiés aux travaux manuels) une telle finesse d'exécution. Pas de nœuds dans le bois ou de veines disgracieuses. C'est bien collé, les charnières et la petites serrures sont de bonne qualité. Vu la taille du petit coffre, c'est du travail très minutieux !
