TOUCH UP PAINT FOR VW/AUDI LC9A PURE WHITE TOUCH UP PAINT PEN/BRUSH

Perfect paint match for my VW at a good price. Has a precision brush and a fine nib.

Product was received via post, in a small packet with limited protection. On this occasion there was no damage but I would recommend better packaging in the future to protect, stop leakage in transit. The paint container holds a small quantity, some 20mls, of colour matched 1K topcoat with application brush to my car colour which is VW reference LC9A, pure white. It is a solid colour so I was happy to use this supplier for such a requirement. I did however first check the match by applying a small amount of this touch up in the boot area of my car. This allowed me to compare how good a match this touch up was. On the whole I was quite happy, the touch up did seem slightly brighter and blue hue compared to the original paint but this was not obvious to the untrained eye. On first use I had some noticeable damage including deep scratches to the vehicle roof, this was caused by debris damage from the M5 some time ago. I had already applied a small amount of white primer to ensure some thickness (dft) of paint over damaged area. On application of the white touch up, after good aggitation (shaking there was small amount of settlement in container), I noted that the paint flowed very well, if anything it was a little too thin (viscose). It seemed to cover most of the damage well and I left for 24 hours before inspecting. I have taken pictures of before and after for reference. My conclusion was that the touch up paint seemed to work well, dry thoroughly and as mentioned was a close match to the original colour. Overall and especially for smaller chip damage this paint and application brush method works well. The paint flows well and can be a little tricky not to apply too much in the damage area. The use of a 1K primer on larger damage is always a must in my opinion and I see some suppliers offer both products together in a dual pack. I will use this material to repair small damages on my car in the future, but have knocked a star off my score due to delivery packaging and paint viscosity (which I believe should be thicker).

Only applied one coat so far and all appears OK. I did have an issue with the brush initially. I unscrewed the top and the brush stayed behind so I needed a knife to lever it out of the tube. All OK now
