Fjallraven Re-Kanken Backpack, Emerald

I love this bag and am very happy I bought it. It is well made, solid construction. I got it to use as a day pack while traveling because it’s made well and isn’t too big or too small. It’s not as heavy duty as the original canvas material (it’s a bit softer), but I believe it will still be water resistant enough for my use. I splash it with some water and it beaded and ran off. I also rubbed it into the fabric and couldn’t feel it on the other side. I’m sure it’s not completely waterproof, but as long as you don’t dunk it in water or let it get excessively wet you’ll be fine. I can fit a TON into it and it still feels super light. My only complaint is that the water bottle pockets are super small. I was hoping to fit a Swell bottle in them, but it’s just too big. A regular plastic bottle would fit fine thought. Unfortunate because a big selling point on this for me was that it’s made of recycled materials. Hate to use a plastic bottle (I’m just going to put the bottle in the bag).

Like the other reviews say, the color is very different in real life than in the picture. Personally, I like this color much better, so it was not an issue for me. It shipped earlier than expected, and I had absolutely no problems throughout the entire process. As for the backpack itself, it's everything I hoped for and more. Much more spacious than it looks, extremely durable, and overall, just very cute. :) The only problem with this is that if you get dust or dirt or whatever on this bag, it will show very easily. Maybe consider keeping a lint roller handy? 🤪

I bought this because I really like the black-on-black style! As other reviewers have stated, the straps themselves can be tight, however, I also bought Kanken shoulder straps separately and had found that it made a world of difference as far as shoulder comfort and the extent of how much your able to loosen the straps. The bag easily fits a binder. The overall size of the bag feels/looks proportionate to my size as someone who is petite.

This is such a great backpack but one thing I do not like are the zippers to open the backpack. It is hard to open the backpack with the zippers because they are hiding behind a piece of fabric.

Muy lindo

This is my first recycled kanken and I love it! The fabric has a softer feel than the stiffer Kanken Classic. The size is the same as the Kanken Classic, but I like the embroidered logo on the Re-Kanken. It has a more grown-up feel to it. Quality stitching and craftsmanship is apparent throughout the bag. Time will tell if the recycled fabric wears as well as the original, but this will be my daily pack for work, so I'll update this review after a few months of heavy use to see how it is holding up. I will consider getting another in a brighter shade in the future. I purchased from seller All Outdoors and fulfilled by Amazon. Price was good and delivery was prompt. Backpack appears to be authentic.

Oh man, this little backpack is something else. I’m a neurodivergent person who needs to have things with me. I need a lot of preventative tools to keep myself from getting overwhelmed with life. I love to have a planner at all times… I also love to have an emotional journal… but I also need a reflection / daily journal… but I also am working on this book so that’s gotta come with me. Wait… but I draw. I need to bring my iPad with me and my pencil… pencils oh crap I need my pencil bag with my tools in it! Tools… omg my sensory stuff! A little jar with earplugs and chapstick and hair ties and sound dampeners. What about my meds? I need those in case I panic…. Omg and my phone cords…. Aghhhh Enter this bag. Everything fits like a little desk - it could truly do with an organizer insert to be most efficient, but I put my smaller items in a pencil bag and it works like a charm. Very sturdy, straps could be more comfy but the weight distribution with Kankens takes care of that for me at least. And it’s recycled! Ahhh! Icing on the cake. Can’t wait to wear it in over the next years. (

It took just a week to arrive Saudi Arabia by DHL " paid 49.82$ for shipping .. It's an authentic re-kanken.. I ordered the kanken in Slate colour and i was worried the grey colour will be close to green but it's so beautiful, it's more like blue grey. The embroidered mono logo gives it a more vintage and classic look, it goes with every outfit i could possibly wear .. " from a personal perspective I wouldn't wear a kanken with a red logo with a pink dress for example, but this one goes nicely with everything ". Expensive but worths every penny.. and above all it's a kanken that truly says without nature we're nothing.

Je suis collectionneur de sac a dos . Je n'avais jamais acheter Fjallraven . Celui ci est très jolie et belle finition . Seul bémol sur ce sac , c'est la qualité du portage . Les sangles sont fines ont tendance à faire mal à l'épaule . J'ai un grand gabarit peut être que cela est dû a cela . Après je l'utilise pour le travail . Je transporte mon pc portable , cahier de notes épais, classeur , petit carnet de note , pochette de crayon que je met dans la poche extérieur, et dans l'autre poche je met mon second téléphone . La poche ventrale beaucoup de petit article . Oublié de mettre une gourde de 500 ml dans celle ci . Après pour d'autres utilisation disons randonnée je ne préconise pas ce sac meme si il peut faire l'affaire pour 1h .
