Amazing and easy install!
My left arrow key somehow popped off and the little piece inside was broken so it wouldn’t pop back on. I took it to Apple and they were unwilling to change only the one key. They told me they would need to change the entire keyboard and with Apple care it was still going to be $300!! Absolutely bonkers. I purchased this, watched a YouTube video and replaced it myself for $12 and in under 30 mins. Shame on Apple.

Better than Best Buy!!
My key was yanked by my kid and I was devastated! My MacBook was a gift and I love it so much I didn’t want to have to buy a new one. Desperate I made an appointment at Best Buy and at another third-party fixing company. They quoted me over $200 because they said they had to take out the whole keyboard and replace it!! How is it possible that me, an insignificant person, with no prior training, was able to fix my key so easily? Idk but I’m so happy it worked out my way! Amazing quality as well! No issues with the item nor the installation 10/10!!! And only 10? Best value for your money, it was compatible with my 2020 MacBook Pro and it’s appearance makes it looks like nothing was wrong! It fit perfectly. I love it!

Great easy repair
Perfect fit for my laptop and easy to apply

Fit perfectly on my MBP A2485. Installed without removing original hinge
Worked great. There was no damage to the hinge so I did not need to remove it. To hook the left side of the hinge I used a spring hook to lift the right side of the hinge to get clearance. Once the left side was in place, simply snapped the right side into place.

Items shipped separately and were slightly different; however the key and mechanism in the correct model works and is fairly priced.

KEY FIXED!
This was a solution to my arrow key falling off all the time. You cannot tell that it is a different than the other keys. It BLENDS in perfectly and FITS. I wish there was more information on how to install as it was tricky and time consuming. I will buy again if any other key needs replacing.

impossible to insert despite help from internet.
Buyer remorse. What seems to be a simple task is a challenge. There are not instructions on how to fix the problem other than the internet. After several searches and views, the replacement key was just impossible to insert. The design of the key (Apples' fault) is subject to falling apart upon insertion. The plastic underlying spring clip is the achilles heel.
