I have a 2008 Ford Mustang, and like many owners of these S197 models, I've dealt with the notorious fuel rail pressure sensor problems (often throwing P0193 codes and causing rough running or stalling). I first tried a cheap knock-off brand I found on Amazon, thinking I'd save a few bucks – big mistake. It failed in less than a week, leaving me stranded again.Switched to this genuine BOSCH 0261230093 Original Equipment sensor, and it's been rock solid ever since – no more codes, smooth idle, and the car runs like new. Installation was straightforward (just be careful with the fuel rail), and the build quality is obviously superior.Bonus: The price on Amazon was way better than what my local auto parts stores were charging for the same OE part. If you're fixing fuel pressure issues on a Ford (especially Mustang, F-150, Explorer, etc.), skip the generics and go straight for this Bosch – you won't regret it. Highly recommended!

This item arrived within the time period it was expected and was packaged well. It was the exact replacement for the 20 year old original fuel pressure sensor on my 2005 Ford Focus ZX4. The sensor is at the top of the engine, so it was easy to replace it. I disconnected the electric clip, the small vacuum hose and the two bolts holding it to the fuel rail. After removing the original sensor, I dipped a small portion of a paper towel into the hole in the fuel rail and used the gas on the towel to clean the mating surface of the fuel rail. I hooked up the new sensor and erased the Check Engine Light code. It's been more than a month since I did this and the code has not returned. I am very happy with the purchase.

After using this a couple of months, I can say it is very good. It stopped the check engine light and seems to have improved the gas mileage if only a slight bit.

Better than the one from the dealer. I went to the auto parts and none had it and the price was between 100-140. Same brand I got it at amazon for $25 and was delivered next day. Very satisfied with the high quality product. Fit perfect and now my truck doesn’t have the code anymore.. thank you

Just got it today (April 28th, 2021) they put the tiny Bosch box in a bubble wrap envelope. Open envelope, Bosch box is completely destroyed, along further inspection the sensor tip that goes into fuel rail is broken with the sensor wires exposed. Sensor is completely broken and wouldn't install, especially because electricity and gasoline don't mix. Amazon say this will not work on my 2004 mercury sable LS with the 24v dohc engine, but after conducting my own research(rockauto says part will work) and popping the hood this is the exact OEM part just missing the FoMoCo branding and part number. So fellow mercury sable LS owners (2004-2005) this is the O.E.M. part! Will update when the second sensor gets here (hopefully intact)! Update: second sensor arrived today (5/5/2021) install was a breeze for anyone who is mechanically inclined. Mpg average was 18mpg today (after install) was able to get 25.5mpg with in town and stop and go traffic (philly rush hour) and positive I could get more if people knew how to drive! Anyways awesome. Same exact part as the original, but $100 cheaper than the dealership. Very common issue for anyone with the 3.0L duratec engine. Usually crap out around 100k miles. If you notice you mpg has gone down and no CEL or code p0193 or P0190 then this very well could be the culprit. Definitely will be saving money in the long run, and really happy that my catalytic converters (all 3) (they arnt cheap!) will be much more happier with a proper air/fuel ratio! Will buy again when the car crosses 230k just to save myself the headache.

it solved my P0193 code, combination of a few things, fuel injectors were leaking, after they were replaced. Then the code wouldn't come back as quick, so changed sensor this 2005 Mustang passed though its drive cycle. OEM part from Ford was $200, this part was a lot more reasonable and because it had the Bosch name, I felt confident to try it
