Woolrich Men's Crushable Water Repellent Wool Felt Outback Hat

This outback hat is very sharp; it's comparable to the Pendleton Outback Hat in both style and fit. I wear an XL, so the Woolrich hat fits very comfortably on my head (though I don't wear my hats snuggly on my head - I wear them more for sun/rain protection). The Woolrich XL is also slightly larger than my Pendleton XL's - both brims are 3", but the former has a more room inside the actual cap-space. If you plan to work outside in this particular Woolrich, and you typically wear an "XL", you may want to consider purchasing a "L" (so it won't blow off or fall off your head while working), unless other Woolrich XL styles come with a chin-strap. Quality is good, as is the price.

Every hat, helmet, and visor I have ever worn had been a medium. this item claims to be a medium but it fit like an extra large. You might want to purchase this brand from a brick and mortar rather that Amazon in order to get a correct fit.

Buying headwear online is always a gamble and in this case I lost. In spite of using the size chart provided and measuring twice like my grandfather taught me, this hat is enormous. I thought I was getting a quality product, sized correctly from a trusted American name, Woolrich, only to learn this is made in China. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

This is a really nice hat. High quality material is soft and pliable and springs back to shape, no matter what I do to it! Nice lining and head band. So comfortable!-- hugs my head like I have been wearing it for years! Repelled snow like water off a duck's back during last Wednesday/Thursday's snow storm. Kept my head good and warm, too! LOVE THIS HAT! And, TJ VOGUE handled all three of my orders with professionalism and expedience. I am waiting on the third hat now as I ordered it yesterday, but the last one I ordered was on the 13th, and I had the package here the morning of the 15th. Hats off to TJ Vogue and Woolrich! (Pun intended).

Bought this for my husband for the winter. I got the same size as the new hat he got last winter but I think it runs a little large. On the other had, Woolrich sent a strip of foam tape to put behind the leather band to make it smaller and that worked just fine. My husband does not like the hats with an elastic band inside (one size fits all) so this was a better choice.

The hat had been worn before and I assumed returned.. it had been steamed into a cowboy hat shape rather than as a flat brimed hat...Tried to return to its original shape but failed..Sucks that it was a return and resold...would not trust the supplier

Other that the size (at least the XL) being a bit larger than should be, it is a very nice hat. A side comment: the Scala Outback hats seem to be very similar for a better price. I think Woolrich should give the buyer some added value for the higher price other than the name.

I got what I wanted. However the word khaki is deceiving. It is not what one believes to be khaki. It is brown. Other than that it was fine for me
