Use case is iffy
I bought the batteries hoping I could charge them in my NITECORE, but it did not work, so I got the official 8-cell charger later. The batteries work, but the continuous voltage output to exhaustion could leave you with a suddenly dead flashlight, a stalled radio control boat out in a lake, or an inop portable radio. Regular Li-ion batteries will tail off quickly, but not instantly, so these XTAR are not that much worse. But you won't have a few seconds to find and grab your backup in the dark.

Very impressed so far.
I've been using these in a trail camera for several weeks now. They appear to be about 2300mah when drawing about 200 miliamps. Decent capacity. So far, I think they're excellent.
