Great magnifier with light. It attaches nicely and snuggly to our wooden TV tray on which I work on hobbies. The pieces of my hobby are very small. This magnifier light helps a lot!!

The light is bright and the magnifying glass optics are clear. The base is heavy enough to allow full extension over the base. Since the base is flat, it can be used as a platform for the object to be magnified. Overall, it is a nice tool.

This is a great desk lamp. I'm using it for electronics repair and it's a great aid in determining resistor colors and codes, too. I'm not returning it but there is one "feature" that, if I had paid better attention, I would not have chosen this model. The On/Off switch is 1/3 of the way down the power cord. That translates to, over the edge of the desk or work bench. For now, I'm working on a table, but to turn it off or adjust it, I have to get off of my chair and walk around to the back of the table to get to the switch. This is keeping me from moving it to my desk, where I cannot access the back. So, do I turn it on and just leave it on? Maybe I will. I could pick up all the slack and pin the switch to the desk? Nope, the cord is barely long enough to reach the plug in the first place. I will probably splice an extension in there so I can reach the switch.Otherwise, the 3 light temperatures are great, the intensity is well good enough that I can see the detail on my circuit boards and the magnifying glass (10x, in my case) is perfect, with minimum distortion where I need it.The base and frame are made of steel (magnet sticks to everything) and seems plenty stout and durable. The base is also long enough so the lamp doesn't tip over at maximum stretch over the work.Would I buy one again? If the On/Off switch were on the base, I definitely would, but as it is, I would not.

Easy assembly. The included base is sturdy on my work bench and the magnifier light works great. Recommend for any hobby, craft or gun bench

Received as expected! The recipient comments on it everyday how much they love it, how easy it is to use/setup, doesn’t take up any space and how clear they can see the details in their work when using the magnifying glass rather than the light/magnifying headset they’ve been using.

The clasp will not tighten so it will not hold up the magnifying glass.

Nice addition to my desk .

I use this magnifier to do beading with very small beads (size 15 and smaller) this product allows me to see clearly the beads and where to insert the needle ; I have used previously a10x + led lamp, and lately could not see clearly, even thought I was going blind; with this machine I can continue to create; the magnification is tremendous and the light is so bright that I can read at night (in a black room!) just with its light.
