I bought this dvd player two years ago for my kids to use on car trips. They primarily have used it in the car, but also around the house. At some point in the last year, the car charging plug broke. I wanted to order a new cord, so I emailed the company. This was well beyond the warranty period. The company responded back that same day and asked for more details. In the end, they decided to send me a new cord free of charge. This player was inexpensive, continues to work great, and you can't beat the customer service. I highly recommend this player.

Bought in nov 2024. No issue. Only problem that my child uses it si much that the screen will not full stand up write. Wish I got the additional insurance.

Watching LUCIFER on it as I write this!! Great size screen for my big truck and loud enough to drown out outside noises

I had an initial problem in not realizing there is an on/off toggle switch on the side of the unit. I emailed Yoton customer service which was prompt and Phoebe was very helpful, even sending me an explanatory photo. The unit works well now and my 88 year old mother is very glad to be able to watch her DVDs as she had not been able to manage two TV remotes. This unit is simple enough for her to use, screen nice and big and good picture.

This DVD player didn't work properly basically from the beginning. I thought my daughter just scratched dvds and scolded her for that, because it sometimes doesnt see dvd ( says no disk) even if we place one there, sometimes we manage to make it play, but then she says it stops suddenly or freeze the image. I blamed my daughter for scratching dvds, but we have 3 more similar players at home( for homeschool needs) and the same exact dvd worked perfectly on another player. Total garbage. We bought it in January and cant return anymore. It was barely used this less then 3 month abd thats why we couldn't detect the issues right away even though she barely uses it, she complains as i described above. So just now i decided to try it myself and compare to other dvd players we have and yes its player issues, not disks'. I regret i didn't pay attention earlier so i could return it on time. Now i need to order one again, since we need one anyways. But this one is piece of junk. I bought a bunch of them and no one was so bad from the beginning .

I've used this about 200 times and it still works (many burn out some how fast oddly) woohoooo! I thought I had a DC 9 plug issue this week and was going to write a bad review but I'm the dork! The dc9 is great! I haven't used it in awhile and thought it wasn't charging cuz no light. When in fact it was completely 100% charged and that's why it wasnt responding with the light ugh. Duh! I'm so sorry for doubting you Yoton. It's plays excellent tonight as always! Great screen! Great sound! And very portable!

Solicité el reembolso por lo use dos veces y a la tercera no prendió, seguí las recomendaciones que mencionan y sigui sin funcionar, diario trato de prenderlo, conectado a la corriente y desconectado pero no prende, se escucha el click del interruptor parece que eso no es, simplemente no prende. Gracias por su apoyo. Lo hice en el mes de marzo y no he tenido respuesta solo que lo iban a soluciinarcv y ahora aparece que el reembolso no procede por que venció el plazo en abril de 2025

Lecteur de DVD livré n'est pas neuf pour deux raisons; 1) Le disque de protection de la lentille spécifié dans la notice d'utilisation n'était pas présente. 2) Deux piles de marques différentes étaient en place dans la télécommande Cela laisse entrevoir que cet article n'était pas neuf. De plus impossible de lire des DVD neufs ainsi que des clés USB au format JPEG ou MP4 (vidéos). Très déçu par cet achat qui devait être un cadeau à l'origine. D'où mon retour.
