Excellent whitening product, great company at a great price!
I used Cali white products a few years ago with great results. I recently ordered more refills and they work exactly as described. For anyone experiencing viscosity issues, it’s likely due to storage conditions. I usually keep mine in fridge but have had times I stored in my bathroom drawer with no liquifying issues. Either way the only way I’ve ever had excess gel in my mouth was due to adding to much gel in the trays. (Totally my error!). I really like the custom fit tray but have used either style with great success. I’ve had 3-4 kits and have had 100% success with good batteries as well. Smart move for Celia to disconnect battery until user has received it in hand. Thank you Cali for creating a very effective teeth whitening product & kit at an affordable cost. Especially in the time of high costs & inflation. My dentist wanted $200+ for a similar product with some whitening strength. Why do they charge so much? Because they can. Thanks again Cali White for a great product and significantly whiter teeth!

Better than strips imo
So I’ll start off by saying I’m low key obsessed with whitening my teeth and am constantly brushing with charcoal and finding new methods to try. That being said, my teeth may very well be as white as they will naturally get, but I’m stubborn and I still don’t believe that.My upper teeth have decent enough space between them that I can pretty handily slide floss through. My bottoms on the other hand, are slightly too tight and the bane of my existence. Can floss, but I have to wiggle it through. Over the years I’ve noticed that those cracks are what have me going nuts about needing to whiten my teeth. Enter this new tool.So it is very easy to use with simple instructions. I have ONLY used the one size insert, not the custom mold, so maybe that would make a difference. Brush, floss, dry teeth, put the tool in your mouth with the gel and press the button until the blue light turns off; can do this up to 3x.After my fourth use of recommended 5-10 (maybe I’ll try the mold for the final 5?) I feel as though my upper teeth honestly look the same. But like I said, the bane of my existence is between my bottom teeth. It hasn’t completely removed the yellowish stain but it does seem a bit lighter.Overall I think this penetrates better than strips, and um most importantly don’t make your teeth ache! It does feel as though your teeth have been stripped of a protective coating but this doesn’t last too long, as in the feeling is well gone by the time I wake up. I’d say this is certainly worth a try if you are debating between this and strips.

Can be messy, but definitely works
It comes with enough gel for 10 treatment days. I'm on my 6th day. I skipped one because I was really tired. There were noticeable results after the first use. The gel sticks really well to the side of the retainer. I had slight irritation on my gums during one treatment, but was fine on the others. The first time I did it, I didn't pull my lips out around the retainer. I think this caused the gel to really sit on my gums causing irritation. The lack of a seal also caused a ridiculous amount of drooling. You're supposed to brush, floss, and dry your teeth first. Do your treatment. The light has an auto-timer of 10 minutes. You can leave it in for up to 30 minutes. I did 10 minutes for the first 4 treatments, and 20 minutes for the last two. Then you rinse with warm water, and brush again.I'm not sure if it's officially waterproof, but I did do one treatment while I took my shower (multitasking!) with no issues. They suggest you do it at night. It says your teeth will be more suseptible to staining for the first 2-3 hours after treatment while your teeth remineralize. Doing it before bed protects them from staining. (So don't do it for a quick whitening, then go on a coffee date. It will defeat the purpose. )My dentist prescribed me a remineralizing toothpaste to be used at night before bed. I use it after my treatment, and make sure I don't eat or drink anything except water until morning. I might be concerned about mineral loss in my teeth if I didn't have the special toothpaste.

Whitens the teeth but burns gums like hell.
It does work, and makes teeth whiter. but sometimes it burns my gums so badly while using it, I suffer through pain that I can barely handle.
