Megoo Screen Protector for Surface Book 2 13.5 inch, Tempered Glass/Easy installation/Scratch resistant, Compatible for Microsoft Surface Book 1/2

Hi there, I just wanted to leave a quick review of this product (Surface book 2 Screen Protector) and company (Megoo). The application process for the screen protector was easy to follow and had helpful additions such as guiding tape, which is used to make the application easier and with better (straighter) results. They include everything you need to ensure that no dust particles remain on the screen (wet wipe, microfiber cloth, sticker dust remover). This is a must as dust prevents the protector from laying flat on the device. I will say that it may take time to get it perfect, but it's worth it as the protector will pretty much stay on the device as long as you want it there. So spend a little time upfront to get it right and never worry about screen scratches again :). The protector was almost perfect dimensions, maybe a millimeter off, so no big deal there. It works very well with the surface pen. I actually preferred having the screen protector on it for writing. It seemed to glide easier and the computer picked up writing better with the screen protector on the device. Plus I am not worried about scratching up a $2500 dollar device. All in all, I'd say it's worth the $20 for peace of mind. Lastly, a few words about the company. I actually had a small issue with my screen protector where the layers of the screen protector seemed to start becoming detached. I contacted their support team by email about the issue and within 24 hours I had another screen protector on its way. They have great customer service and were a delight to communicate with. A+. If you need a protector, go with this company, they stand by their products!

I purchased this screen protector immediately when I got my Microsoft Surface Book. It worked perfectly protecting my screen from scratches or breaks while still allowing for great touch screen and note taking with the surface pen. After about a year of usage, the screen protector cracked, from an impact that I cannot even recall happening. While it was disappointing to have the proctor crack, I was extremely relieved that the Surface Book screen itself was completely saved, not even a scratch. Furthermore, when I takes to customer service about the cracked protector, they immediately shipped out a replacement. I have replaced the new protector onto my screen and it’s perfect again. The protector lines up perfectly with the notches and camera openings on the Surface Book. It’s easy to apply as long as you go slowly, clean your screen well, and use the alignment stickers that come in the box. Highly recommend this brand. Affordable, yet durable and high quality. The company does it’s best to make the installation really easy with the guide stickers and step-by-step instructions, And it’s really pretty to watch the protector adhere to the screen. Unfortunately it’s still hard to install the large protector and I just couldn’t get the last of my bubbles out and I contact customer service and they were very helpful in getting me a replacement free of charge. I can already tell even though mine has bubbles that the quality is really good and there’s no loss in the touch screen sensitivity. Well worth the investment and next time I have screen protector needs I’ll be sure to come back. Now I just have to endure these bubbles a little bit longer until the replacement comes in the mail!

Update: The support team reached out to me and quickly sent me another screen protector. I messed the second one up somehow too and they sent me a third one. This time I went to a local phone repair shop and let him do his magic to get it on right. It's now on and I can't even tell it's there. So in the end, great product, with good customer service. The only bad thing was what I mentioned below. Other then that I'm happy. I can't yet rate the quality of the product because I haven't got to use it yet. When I received my new screen protector I was nervous because I didn't want to mess up the installation. So I followed there instructions to T. To include doing the whole procedure in the bathroom after a shower. I tried to be as careful as possible but I still managed to get bubbles and the protector cracked while laying it down. So at this point I have not got much of a chance to test it out. I could tell it was really thin and the 5 minutes I used it felt fine. Fortunately for me I contacted MEGOO and told them what happened and they said they would send me another one for 99% off. That's great news. The bad side is they won't send it without me writing a review first. So here I am. I can't give them a 5 star review until I actually get to try out the product. Therefor I will leave this 3 star review for their willingness to replace my screen protector and will update this accordingly once I have had a chance to actually test it out.

I purchased a Microsoft Surface Book 2 and within two weeks the screen cracked (very lightly and just on the surface of the screen, but the crack goes vertically across the screen) when I attempted to remove the keyboard from the tablet piece. I bought this screen protector after cracking the screen in an attempt to protect the crack and keep the screen from cracking more. I wish I would have bought this when I first purchased the laptop, but it is what it is. I felt intimidated by the install instructions because I have always been horrible at applying screen protectors. After viewing the install instructional video on Youtube, the installation process went very smoothly. IF YOU HAVE PETS OR A DUSTY HOME - please follow the recommendation of installing this in a bathroom after the shower has run for a few minutes. I have two pets and I cannot stress enough how great the install went without any dust/dander bubbles underneath. Immediately after the install I had some larger air bubbles remain in the center. I was able to use the microfiber cloth and gently push the bubbles to the edge of the screen protector and they disappeared. I didn't even have bubbles gather around the crack in the screen. This is great!

I purchased this about a year ago. When I first installed it I messed up slightly and left a couple of bubbles, but since they weren't on the visible portion of the screen I ignored them. The tempered glass was very durable. I never saw a scratch on it and unlike with plastic covers the surface was very pleasant to use. A little while ago I noticed a chip on the side of the screen protector that had caused a couple of thin cracks to spread all the way across the visible portion of the screen. Remembering the warranty I contacted Megoo about the problem and they were happy to ship me a replacement. I took some extra time on the installation of the replacement and the result was excellent - no bubbles anywhere. The adhesive layer also served to keep the broken glass together when I removed it, meaning there were no sharp edges to worry about. This product is excellent. The installation was easy when I took my time, although masking tape would probably have worked better for the adhesive hinge strips during the installation. A steamy bathroom really helps keep the dust down, too. When it came to cleaning my screen before installing, I used the wet wipe first then dried it with the included microfiber cloth. I'm not sure if that was the "right" way to do it, but it left the screen very clean and I'm happy with the results.

Have had my Surface Book for about 4 months and decided that it was time to put a screen protector on it. I chose the Megoo based on the previous reviews. I have the latest version SB and when I did a test alignment everything lined up perfectly. Using the included installation kit I aligned the screen protector and used the included alignment stickers to create the hinge on the bottom edge. I "opened" the screen protector on the hinged end and cleaned the screen with the included alcohol pad. Wiped it clean with the buffing cloth and made sure there wasn't any dust. I then peeled off the backing sheet and laid the screen protector on the screen using the "hinges". There was a bubble but a credit card and a gentle push and it was gone. Not a single bubble in sight and a perfect fit. The Surface Pen and my fingers can't tell that it's even there. Works perfectly. Will buy one for my Surface Pro 3 when I replace the cracked screen.

This is a wonderful screen protector that has done exactly what it is advertised to do, protect my screen from scratches and cracks. Not only that but the customer service is amazing for this product, they respond quickly and are always willing to help solve any problems with the product. My first screen protector was damaged before I was able to install it when I bought the product over a year ago and they sent a free replacement right away. Now I am just getting another free replacement as I had the second one on my laptop for over a year and I never had any bubbling or issues with it besides the cracks that I put in it from clumsy accidents. The screen protector stood up to heavy use through 3 semesters of daily notetaking in college courses and as I said before the only reason it cracked is because of user error. While this will not save your screen from any real drops or accidents, it is a great item to have if you want to protect your screen from all those scratches and moments when you drop something else on the screen. Works pretty well with the Microsoft pen, sometimes gets a little finicky when writing in OneNote but overall love this product. If you install the product correctly then you should barely even notice it's there, there is no color distortion or effect on touch screen abilities, and the only way to tell it is there is from the thin edge on the bezels of your device.

Seems like a good quality product. Tedious to install and to make sure the screen is perfectly clear of all debris before sticking. Very supportive seller to answer questions/concerns about the product.

Arrived next day from seller even though it was supposed to take 3 weeks (must have had one close). doesn't impede my view of my screen. Good youtube instructions except the first part of the video they had the screen protector facing the wrong way.

Installing takes time but you can get bubbles gone... but I got the product once and returned it and got a second one and have same problem. There is a weird fuzzy circle that isn’t a bubble or dust that is on the screen and won’t go away. No matter how many times I clean or instal it’s in same area all the time (different area on each version). Company was great in helping me get another version of the product to avoid the defect. Third try is a charm and seems to be working well with no weird mark.
