The themes are very consistent in this book. Print and photo qualities are outstanding! Highly recommended!

This book is great, I would only wished the size was bigger, the quality of the pics and models really worth a much fair bigger size book, but well I am glad I got it.

DISCLOSED DESIRES is a collection of photographs by Roberto Chiovitti, an Italian photographer/artist who first gained attention for his contributions to Italian magazines such as Vanity Fair, For Men Magazine, SportWeek, Chi, Men's Health and for magazines form Australia, Spain, and other countries. His particular interest in photographing the male model is to capture not only their physical beauty but also their attitude. On his Introduction he explains that for this collection of images he wanted to uncover the hidden fantasies of some men and he elected to focus on porn actors 'because they represent what we'd love to be: pure sexuality.' In accomplishing his goal he asked his models to role play - wear elements of other people's clothes, fetish gear, leather extremes, 'toys', etc. 'It's interesting and exciting to see how one can change his sexual behavior only by wearing a fetish accessory, a simple leather band, holding a whip in the hand, being naked n a cruising bar, or even being chained.' The images Chiovitti has created are dark, in many cases appear painful, and are very much devoted to the sadomasochistic genre of physical interactions. These models are bound, in slings, in other leather fetish situations, an din self inflicted (hot wax) attitudes. But the difference is that the models all seem to be enjoying what appears to the viewer to be brutal or bizarre. These men are pierced everywhere, tattooed to the extreme, yet all are magnificent physical specimens who obviously are committed to health and gym workouts. Dream material? For some, yes. Voyeurism? Absolutely! And isn't that part of undisclosed desires among all of us - to be that fly on the wall and witness the extremes of physicality? THERE ARE OTHER BOOKS THAT DEAL WITH THE SUBJECT ON A MUCH DEEPER LEVEL SO DISAPPOINTING TO GO BACKWARDS AT A TIME WHEN SO MANY GAYS ARE BREAKING NEW GROUND .
