Quality was actually better than I expected

Who is this for..? ~ People who want a PORTABLE tv. You shouldnt buy this as a main tv for your house. it would be an acceptable tv for the puzzle table. Overall- Not bad. There arent many tv's available in the 12v range. This one fits the bill. It remembers the channel I was on, and the user picture settings when I pull the plug out of the wall. It includes both a wall cord, and a car-lighter 12v socket cord. I plan to use this in my Conversion van. The screen size is 15" X 8.4" and the outside case dimensions are 16.25" X 10.75" and a depth from wall-to-screen of 1.75". The inputs are all on the TOP side. kinda nice. ~Includes actual buttons on the FRONT of the unit! Big plus for me. ( Power, Input, Menu, Channel, Volume, and OK) ~ Included Antenna has a magnetic base and picks up tons of channels even in my basement! Its better than MUCH larger antennas I have had in the past. CONS: ~ Viewing angle and picture quality could be better but, for watching 30 year old tv shows in the back of my van while i fall asleep its just good enough. I guess thats my only con. The colors are a little washed out but... eh.. hey its 100 bucks. It runs on 12 volts and doesnt use much power. it pulls a signal from the air out of the box. it has both RCA and HDMI... if it lasts its worth it! will updae if it dies.

The TV is ok and works great for what it's advertised for. It is small enough to go traveling with or put in a kitchen uet its widescreen and HD capable. However, it does NOT connect to Wi-Fi like it says (as of June 13th, 2022) in the product details. Mine also has a line of pixels that are dead near the top. Could be an issue with shipping but something to be aware of. *edit* After using this for a while, the remote sometimes doesnt pick up the power or volume buttons. It also takes a LONG time to power on. Also, they have since removed the wifi connectivity from the product details.

I purchased this for the sole purpose of having something to entertain the grandchildren in the camper on a rainy day and it has come to be invaluable. It fits perfectly in the laptop cary case of your choice. I have the t.v., the cords, and I purchased a small DVD player that fits in the cary case too, along with a handful of movies. It's like instant movie night while camping. Just ad popcorn. I was also able to pick up local stations with the provided antenna to watch the news in some locations but not everywhere. It just depends on where you are. Really though, with the added mini DVD player it's been a life saver. Picture quality is good and it is pretty easy to set up, tear down and pack away until needed again. I'm happy that I bought it.

I just hate having to buy Chinese, but what choices do you really have? This 17" is branded "Othoig". Never heard of it? That's a surprise. There's no support website, though they do give a "Contact us" email. As for the TV, it's not bad for the price you pay. The pieces fit together well (there are no directions) and it actually feels pretty solid. The picture is OK and it takes my ROKU, so I can travel with it. The antenna is essentially useless, but, no problem, I just stream anyhow. BTW, this is not internet capable without a ROKU or other similar device. All the pieces were there and packaged well. So, overall, 3 stars.
