Great sound and a nice light show too
I got this to take to a convention with me for in the room at night. The warmth and clarity of the speakers, even at lower volumes, made it perfect for the hotel room after a busy day on the convention floor. With LDAC support when paired with an Android device, you certainly hear the details in audio coming through if you're using a high quality audio source like FLAC files.Whilst it's certainly not the smallest, or lightest of devices, its excellent build quality is obvious from just picking it up and holding it. Part of the weight is likely from the rather large battery which seems to last forever if you turn the light show off. Given you can use it whilst charging though, I'm not sure why you'd want to turn it off!Connecting to it is very quick and simple, with it supporting the quick pairing process on Android, and also supporting the "find my" network so you can see where you last left it if you misplace it.The only potential thing to be wary of is that the bass radiators on the sides are exposed, so be careful if packing it inside a bag with other objects where possible.

Sounds astounding in stereo
I have a pair of these for indoor use. They pair easily with apple TV and also with firesticks. Very nice to look at and very well built. The lights are a matter for personal taste and I find that having them switched off increase the amount battery power by around 4 to 6 hours when running unplugged. I will be the first to admit that the speakers have nothing like the total volume of sound of the likes of the jbl extreme but that is not the point as far as I am concerned. I didn't purchase these to walk about in fields frightening the wildlife. I bought them for high quality sound and ɓoy do they deliver. I an a musician and I have very good ears. When I got the first one I was very very impressed with the sound quality. The bass is very well blended in to the sound and is loud and distinct to the point thoat I was able and follow compex bass lines on live recording without the sound being boxy or boomy. The mid range is crystal clear and high frequency sound is very well dealt with. That's one. I had the opportunity to aquire a used one on Facebook for a very reasonable price to match the grey one I bought from amazon. Two of them paired as stereo can almost out perform my home denon and warfedale hifi. The only reason the home system is better is because I have a 12 inch subwoofer. At any reasonable volume you find that music has a degree of stereo separation that often takes you by surprise. The sound quality of the portable stereo system is astonishing for a Bluetooth setup. I haven't had the chance to see a black one in the flesh but they grey ones are unobtrusive in which ever room I place them . Recommended, particularly if you can afford two.

Very bassy but very satisfying
Good speaker for the price. Very bassy - bit too much for my taste. Provided EQ with "music center" app is helpful even though it's simple and has only 3 sliders. "bass" all the way down. Speaker can be very quiet - perfect for the background when you sleep. Starting up sound can be switched off from the settings inside "media centre app"

Powerful sound for a mobile unit.
Great sound. The extra bass is particularly impressive. Charging lasts a long time too. Easy to set up via bluetooth. Recommend it for around the house and garden.

So easy to use
Just received this great Bluetooth speaker and had it playing flac files from Tidal via my smartphone in ldac quality within ten minutes of unpacking. (Very impressive for an old man who’s something of a technophobe!). I’d rate is as very easy to use; with great sound quality and unobtrusive looks. Would highly recommend it.

Its A Blast
An excellent product from Sony, its a meaty little box with an excellent sound. I have hearing difficulties and wear hearing aids (too much loud music when I was younger), the volume on the SRS-XG300 is not super loud but it's more than loud enough for most people, myself included. The carrying handle is useful especially if moving around the house etc, and the charge is more than adequate for a days music, the build screams quality and to be honest, I'm unable to fault it.

Bluetooth Speaker
Bought a pair of these to play in a stereo cluster in our outdoor spaces in the garden.Very pleased with the music clarity despite a very limited graphic equaliser (low, mid, high, not 10 band). Good bass and stereo separation across the pair.LED lights in speaker are quite dim, and changing the effect doesn’t do much. The DJ effects in the app are useless, but I didn’t buy the speaker for either of these features.Mega bass is very good, especially outdoors where bass frequencies get easily lost.Very good battery life. With battery safe mode enabled (it charges to 90%) I’ve had about 20 hours from a single charge.
