T-34/76 Model 1942/43 Factory No.183 Tank w/Clear Turret/Hull 1-35 AFV Club

Seemed close to a Tamiya model. Instructions good. The good - good quality, detailed interior and engine, clear parts to see interior. The not so good - lot of parts needed cleaning, clear part to see interior and not. The upper clear hull shows incomplete details of interior, fuel tanks etc, but what they don't show is detailed engine. Overall this is a good model that give you a detailed interior and clear parts for about same as model without.

This was nuts! The end result was nothing like the picture. The tank I got had transparent part, including! the top of the tank. Stupid! Plus the instructions where hard to follow. Plus the part on the tree where hard to find, not symmetry or standardization of location. A waste of my money. I finally threw it way.

Like the other reviewer, I don't get what the first guy was complaining about. If you don't want the clear piece... just paint it, you're going to paint the entire thing anyways. I thought it was a great kit especially considering it has a full interior, photoetch back grill, metal gun barrel. Tracks are one piece & instructions could be better... nothing major but they have a legend for symbols for glue, no glue, etc. but none of the steps use the symbols with the exception of x4 for make multiple versions of the step, there was a clear part that the sprue was miss labeled but it's not a beginner model & if you've built models before, it's pretty obvious what parts need to move (i.e. not get glued). One thing I wish AFV would do is label the components in the instructions. I like to learn about a model as I build it and while the major components are intuitive, i.e. engine, transmission, etc. there were a lot of little bits and pieces in the interior that I would have liked to have known what they were. All in all though, great kit, great value & looks great box stock & the only thing I added was aftermarket track links.

I don’t understand the other buyer saying this was an awful kit. It clearly states that the model is clear. How can someone leave a bad review because they didn’t bother to read the description and you’re too much of a novice to put it together correctly?This kit is 1/35th scale with full interior detail. Engine compartment, loading area and turret detail are all there. An older kit now, but still looks good when complete. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a t34/76. Excellent kit with crisp detail!
