Easy To Use
This is very well made and no doubt will last a long time. It folds up neatly and easy to store. It is only about 6 feet long but supports a 10 foot hose easily. I like how it expands and remains rigid while positioning it and setting the hose on top. Costs a little more than the plastic ones, but well worth the money difference.

MUCH better than plastic.
First of all, reading is important, this “fits a 15’ hose”, that does NOT mean it is 15’ long. Fully extended it is roughly 10’. Fully folded it is about the same dimensions as the plastic variety but a bit taller. It fits in the compartment behind the LP tanks on my Airstream that I keep the sewer hose support, hose elbow, and black water tank flush hose in but I have to lay it on it’s side. It is a bit stiff to deploy at first but will loosen up with use. Aluminum with brass rivets should last a long, long time and if a rivet does pop out they are easily replaced. More expensive than plastic, yes, but the cost difference is not that much actually and I got less than 2 years of careful usage out of the CAMCO “Sidewinder” plastic one I had before hinges started breaking. The plastic ones also pretty much self destruct in freezing conditions, even if you are very careful. As for the included straps, nice idea but this really seems an afterthought, I don’t use them and it looks to me like CAMCO assumes that most people won’t. It’s a pretty fussy and flimsy set up. If I’m in a long term site or need to secure my dump hose I’ll use Velcro straps, small bungee cords, or tie wraps. I wish I had known about and purchased this aluminum model initially, it’s a much more economical and less wasteful solution in the long run. Unless you back over it with your RV or tow vehicle it should last decades and can be easily repaired if you pop a rivet.

Happy Camper
We have been using this Camco support for about 3 1/2 months full-time. I am very happy with it! So happy that I ditched two of the plastic varieties to free up space in our RV. This is the only hose support you need. I like the ease of use. It extends effortlessly and retracts the same way like an accordion. I also like that it is connected on both sides for better support. The plastic ones are fan folded and each section is only attached to one side, if you follow me. Plastic ones also break easily and one mine I had to wire it in several places. This costs twice as much as some plastic ones but it will be the last one you’ll buy. We’re been gone since last May 2022 in our RV. I wished we had it the whole trip instead of just the past 3 months. I recommend this product!

and NONE of them are great, but I've had my alum supports for the ...
First let me say I've had several types and brands of sewer hose supports over my many years of RV-ing, and NONE of them are great, but I've had my alum supports for the last 10 years and they are still with us. PRO: Will last pretty much forever. They are not easily broken or bent (if you don't abuse them) and they are not susceptible to sun damage. They don't get brittle and no hinge point to break apart. They support even the heaviest of sewer hoses well if you extend them enough that their center of gravity is low. Much easier and quick to get sewer hose on and hooked up. The way they are designed you can lay a brick or rock on the crossbars that contact the ground so strong wind will not tip them over (use small bungies to keep the wind from blowing the hose itself off of the support). CON: Limited length. You can get only about 7-8 ft per section if you extend them all the way, therefore you have to carry multiple sections which means more expense than one plastic support. I carry three. It's a trade off. Carry one plastic support that takes up a little less room in your cargo bay but are harder to set up, will break apart usually sooner rather than later, and are easily tipped over, OR, .carry several sections of these aluminum supports that will never go bad if you don't abuse them. Like I said, there is no perfect solution, but all in all I've been pleased with the construction, durability and ease of use of these aluminum supports.

I got ripped off!
Do not buy!!! I ordered and it broke at first use. Camco approved sending a new one and 6 months later they say they don’t support it, they said it’s back ordered then they don’t sell on amazon? I got ripped off, shame on you camco!

Better than plastic and folds small for storage.
Much better than plastic compatible model.

Same as the last one.
Works good but the last one only lasted two seasons of light use. Plastic bushings at moving points would be best to prevent the premature wear and breakage.

This is a big upgrade to the plastic holders. The plastic broke into 3 sections, we should have purchased this one first.

Works as shown and is easy to set up. The straps to fasten the hose to the frame could use a better design although they do work. Small bungie cords would work better.
