I needed a new clock to mount on the wall in my garage/work shop after my old clock died. Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock!It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value.As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only.I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed.I hope this helps!

DIGITS ARE A "GENEROUS" 2 3/4" TALL and EASILY visible from across the room! Includes an 'auto-dimmer' to correct the digit light level as needed. SUPER EASY to set and comes with a 5 Volt USB supply and with a generous length cord too. This Clock also has an internal backup battery incase of power outages (during an outage the time is not displayed, but correct time is retained). Ample mounting hardware is also supplied, but the Clock is so light I used a 2" length of Velcro with no problems at all. Order with confidence.

This LED digital wall clock is fantastic! The large screen and big digits make it incredibly easy to read from a distance. The automatic dimming feature is a great touch, ensuring the brightness adjusts perfectly for different lighting conditions. I have had this clock for 4 months now. The numbers are big and easy to read. I do like the self adjusting brightness, however... when it goes to the brightest setting, I can hear the electrical buzzing. Also, if the lighting in my room isn't perfectly light or dark, the clock will flash between bright and dim. So not only is it flashing, it's also buzzing.

Easy to mounting. Easy setup. Dimming function is perfect. Easy to see for seniors!!!

Arrived same day. Comes with some peal stick mounts and screws with anchors and had flip out legs if you don’t want it on the wall. I think it even comes with a backup battery. Had to pull the little plastic piece out so I assume there’s a battery in it but not really necessary. It’s pretty sleek. Seems well built. Has a nice matte non reflective front. The auto dim works perfectly as well. Also comes with a long cord so you can hang it high but you do need the cord. Will not work on battery alone.

This clock was great. It looks so simple and so clean. I thought it might look cheap, but it doesn’t have that look at all. It’s just perfectly clean and simple. The light sensor works instantly also. I have no complaints about this clock. I would 100% consider another for a different room.

It's big, easy to set and easily read -- when it's not dim. (The nighttime display is so dark the numerals are barely legible if there's ANY other ambient lighting like the TV or a lamp in a nearby room.)BUT -- if you don't want to mount it on the wall, the "legs" that help it stand aren't placed quite right so it noticeably tilts backward.Also, its "auto sensor" for dimming is a bleeping nuisance. Whenever the light changes (if you walk across the room, or the image on TV is brighter/darker) the whole display flashes repeatedly as it recalibrates the dimness level.Haven't made up my mind about the cord. If I had this wall-mounted, the cord would be an ugly nuisance. Because it's sitting on the entertainment unit, we've got the cord folded up and wrapped with a zip tie.Bottom line: great concept, but I'm going to look for one WITHOUT a light sensor and cord. (Hoping to find one that's battery operated or USB chargeable, with a manual dimness-adjustment button.)
