Very Informative
This book is needed for my graduate program. I was initially nervous because this is a Masters Level course, however I find the text easy to read and comprehend. My only complaint is…. on some pages the words appear as if they aren’t spaced….. it’s as if they were running out of space and printed words right next to each other instead of spaced. The text is small, I have great vision but purchased some reading glasses for this one. The evolve resources are great too!

This book arrived in good condition, but what matters more is the content. It is complex and in-depth, which is a good thing if you love physiology and pathophysiology. In my opinion, it does an excellent job of explaining how the normal human body functions and then showing what can go wrong. Even if some details change in the future (e.g., symptoms of pancreatitis), it teaches a way of thinking that remains relevant—a holistic approach, as I would describe it. I am very happy with my purchase. By “holistic,” I mean it shows connections like: this fails, this fails, this dilates, it can cause that, this mechanism protects that, etc. It makes meaningful connections that will help anyone, especially doctors, to think carefully rather than jump to a quick treatment, considering all the possibilities.
